CIA: Petraeus Thrown Under The Bus Over Benghazi
‘Yesterday afternoon, I went to the White House and asked the President to be allowed, for personal reasons, to resign from my position as D/CIA. After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair. Such behavior is unacceptable, both as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as ours. This afternoon, the President graciously accepted my resignation.
As I depart Langley, I want you to know that it has been the greatest of privileges to have served with you, the officers of our Nation’s Silent Service, a work force that is truly exceptional in every regard. Indeed, you did extraordinary work on a host of critical missions during my time as director, and I am deeply grateful to you for that.
Teddy Roosevelt once observed that life’s greatest gift is the opportunity to work hard at work worth doing. I will always treasure my opportunity to have done that with you and I will always regret the circumstances that brought that work with you to an end.
Thank you for your extraordinary service to our country, and best wishes for continued success in the important endeavors that lie ahead for our country and our Agency.

petraeus was thrown under bus for these and other reasons,but mostly the undermining of the military and its vote manipulations and cover-ups…fast and furious.
allen west has demanded a recount of both the military and popular vote I do beleive! why has this not been followed up on. we know that the majority of men and women in uniform would have voted romney because of the military spending cuts and sequestering issues. mean while obummer is in asia again begging the chinese for anothe couple of loans. lets see what happens there.
the new votecounts of delayed military ballots(by more than one day) and the militarys own beaurocracy in getting right paperwork for absentee ballots both here and in mideast-europe,is questionable at very least,and my feeling is that obamas people told military hierarchies to stiff the proper paperwork to these men and women that serve and die for whats left of our democracy. the media should be hung out to dry for not covering this story november 6th

Many believe General David Petraeus to be a war criminal for his part in torture and killing of civilians.
He showed himself to be an unstable & indiscreet braggart & self aggrandiser previously in the Rolling Stone story so why he was ever pout in as Head of the CIA is puzzling. Good riddance.
Gen. Petraeus, heterosexual, being demonized because of adultry. If Patraeus was derelict in his duties then he should step down but certainly not because of of something he had done in his private life is between God, he and his wife.
