iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 expected to arrive in late 2013
Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst with KGI Securities recently announced his predictions about coming products from the stables of Apple in a publication. All the predictions were set for the later part of the year. Kuo had previously made predictions about the launch period of iPad 4 where he predicted that there would be an early release of the product and he turned out (to the shock of observers) to be quite correct.
In the publication, he did not only make a prediction of the time but took a dab at describing the product. For instance, he described the iPad5, one of the products he predicted would be released by the third quarter of 2013 would be thinner and lighter than what is current available. This may seem pretty obvious but he also went on to say that it would be launched simultaneously with the iPhone5S and iPad mini 2 that is going to come with a retina display.
The further complicate issues, he went on to predict that they will launch what he described as a new design iPhone 5 as well as a modified iPod touch 5 coupled with a spanking new iPod nano. According to Kuo, Apple will also be launching a new Retina MacBook Pro during that same period. The prediction about the modified iPhone 5 design may look suspicious but there are already rumors to that effect i.e. Apple has an intention of creating an affordable iPhone. They may present a “downgraded” model of the iPhone with lesser storage capacity and lower price.
One product that was missing in his predictions was the Apple HDTV. He may have set his eyes on that being launched in 2014.
