WP8 customers are a satisfied lot
There are sales figures. There are apps. There is developer revenue. And then there is customer satisfaction. While the first three statistics will definitely be a proving ground in the established years of a phone OS, the last one is something that will drive growth. This is truly a measure of how a platform will perform in the long run. And Windows Phone 8 seems to be doing very well in this department.
In a survey from ChangeWave, it was found that Windows Phone users are very satisfied at 53% of the population and second only to the iOS which is at 71%. Surprisingly, Android is at third place with 48%.
This is indeed good news for all the existing OEMs of WP8 and also bodes well for all the new entrants. With a good mix of devices and an ever-expanding marketplace, these satisfaction figures should only go up in the months to come.
