HP offers redesigned notebooks for businesspeople
HP began to offer AMD Trinity chips powered notebooks for businesspeople last fall. The chips were included in the company’s pro-business ProBook series. Now the company is showing us another makeover of the notebooks. The new ProBook series notebooks are leaner and they weight less. Consisting of ProBook 430, 440, 455 and 470, the notebooks offer a screen that varies between 13.3 inches and 17.3 inches. The new notebooks are made from aluminium. They feature spill-resistant keyboards, and soft-touch paint. The notebooks will be released in the market later this month. ProBook 430 is the only notebook in the series to be come out in July. The least costly device of the series will demand at least US $499. The series features both the Ivy Bridge CPUs of Intel and the AMD Richard chips of AMD. The 14- and 15-inch models will only offer AMD chips.
All the notebooks feature 1,366 x 768 pixel display. The 17-inch model raises that to 1,600 x 900. The notebooks offer an option of an optical drive. ProBook 430 is again an exception here. The ProBook 440, 450 and 470 models offer two battery versions: six-cell and nine-cell. There is a hybrid hard drive in all the models except for ProBook 430 which only offers an SSD option.
