Firefox Plugin Site Mozilla.org Hijacked
The website Mozilla.org has been hijacked and traffic to the site is being redirected.
Just tried to update the java plugin for Firefox on Mozilla plugin website and received an SSL certificate error.
Viewing the cert, show it was issued as a wildcard for WikiPedia and WikiMedia sites.
I downloaded the cert, accepted it and continued on and found myself being displayed the following error.
There is no word as to what caused the issue, but most likely the official story will end up being a DNS configuration error although the real story is the NSA or some other similar culprit screwed up while trying to intercept traffic to the Mozilla site so they can push updates to users infected with backdoor to access user’s pc.

If the NSA has capability even one percent of what is reputed then they can surely fudge a proper certificate. I’d guess the real explanation is much more mundane.
Why would you go to a separate web page to access the plug ins?? Just click on tools, then go to add ons.
Those addons are all located on a mozilla server addons.mozilla.org
I concur. Had that problem today with a Download Helper download. 3 times with the same error, corrupt file.
NSA would be a reasonable guess, People with too much time and not enough to do generally do get into trouble. Like two year olds, kinda. Or thirteen year olds for that matter.
