Spotlight: iTravelGo For iOS

Traveling the world can be both exciting and scary. On the exciting side the list is long: new culture, food, language, scenery, etc. Likewise, the scary side of traveling to lands unknown is also long and for many of the same reasons. But with developer Oleg Baranovskyi’s iTravelGo, some of those fears can be washed away and much of the joy in traveling to new places unlocked.

The main purpose behind iTravelGo is to make a normal process of app hopping, Googling, and several other tasks come together within one app. Instead of having to keeping opening a dozen different apps for location info, nearby restaurants, maps, common phrases in the local language and many other things, iTravelGo allows you to quickly find what you need with its simple, clear navigation.

When you first open the app you’re presented with a grid of many major popular cities from around the world including: Amsterdam, Bangkok, Barcelona, Beijing, Berlin, Budapest, Chicago, Delhi, Dubai, Florence, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Kiev, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, Marrakech, Mexico, Montreal, Moscow, Munich, New York, Paris, Prague, Rio de Janeiro, Rome, San Francisco, Seville, Shanghai, Singapore, Stockholm, Sydney, Tokyo, Toronto, Venice and Vienna.

Tapping on a city then takes you down another level where some of the things mentioned above can be found. One of our favorite sections is that of the aptly named “info”. It is there you’ll find some general but highly useful info like local time zone, telephone code, population info and more. Other options within each city: History, Attractions, Restaurants, Hotels, Transport, Map and Tips.

Regardless if you’re going on a single trip to one of the locations featured within the app or are checking out multiple locations, the varying information contained within iTravelGo can make things much easier, more fun and most importantly, as low stress as possible.
