iDoorCam – A New Way To See Who’s Knocking

Whether you are on vacation or hiding in your bathroom, there is no reason you shouldn’t be able to see who is at your door without looking through that tiny peep hole that is way to high for any normal person to look through, or a window. No matter what, everyone should be able to feel safe from afar, like a normal person. Not everyone knows kung fu, not everyone carries a weapon and can shoot an unwanted intruder, but incase that unwanted intruder rings the doorbell before he enters, we should see him and be ready to scram.

We love smart technology, we love tech that makes our life easier without us having to do much work. Whether it be Siri scheduling our life, or a camera attached to your doorbell giving you an image of the douchy door-to-door knife salesman attempting to sell you a new way to cut your meat.

iDoorCam is here to notify you via your iPhone or iPad whenever someone is at your door, even if you aren’t home. Connecting via WiFi, iDoorCam latches onto your doorbell power wires and alerts you via the app to whom is at your door. A video shoots over to you giving you the option to talk to the person at your door, whether it is a delivery person or you can remotely make sure the people coming to your house when you aren’t home are legit before you allow your children to answer the door. Solicitors and babysitters’ boyfriends be damned, the iDoorCam is here to keep your mind at ease.

The product has been on Indiegogo attempting to reach it’s funding of $100k, and after five days it did just that, already sitting at $159,484. With just less than 30 days left of funding, funders can still pre-order the device at a reduced price with pre-public delivery.
