Pyle Audio Announces PHBT5 Bluetooth Wrap Around Headphones

When on the move and listening to music through headphones, nothing becomes more frustrating than fumbling around with a stupid cable connecting your headphones to your phone/mp3 player. That’s where modern conveniences such as bluetooth come into play. Conversely, when making the jump from wired to wireless, audio quality is usually the part that suffers to varying degrees. If you’re willing to spend a decent amount of money, you can find increasing audio quality the higher up the ladder you go. That said, many of you are no doubt not loaded with benjamins and instead looking for something a bit more affordable that still strikes a nice balance between convenience and quality. Pyle Audio hopes to have that perfect combination with their new PHBT5 headphones.

THe PHBT5 only cost a mere $39.95 promise crystal clear sound and outstanding audio quality – perhaps overused terms but certainly not on the shy side. Pyle also says the PHBT5 will go 10 hours continuously on battery power or for around 200 hours in standby. Recharging is done via microUSB.

Are their claims warranted? We’ve got a review unit incoming and will give them an ears on to find out if this is would be $39 well (or not so well) spent. Stay tuned.
