BACKGROUND
In 2001, the WMAP satellite was launched. The analysis of images it returned years later shocked many cosmologists. Features in the universe that had been hinted at in previous missions (COBE) and various studies of the background radiation revealed in stark detail that there appeared to be a signal at the largest scales of the universe that know about us, and are aligned to us. This alignment threatened the cherished Copernican Principle- i.e., that we are not in a special place, to such a degree, it earned the title “the Axis of Evil”. Many other related and unrelated observations verify the axis.
Cosmologists, astrophysicists, and others brushed this signal off as an artifact. Dozens of academic papers were written to explain how these defects possibly could be created. Braver scientists who did not buy completely into the dogma did challenge many of these explanations, leaving a scant few challenges that could be seriously considered. The Planck mission launched in 2009, and returning its first dramatic images this March (2013) was designed to address these issues. When the Planck results returned in March 2013, the alignment showed up in yet even higher resolution and detail! It is now clear to all cosmologists that this signal exists. Yet little is heard about it. Entrenched establishments move slowly. Many are trying to spin this as a continuation of the established big bang theories, but some are willing to speak honestly about what is really happening. Some have even stepped forward to question cosmic inflation, a phenomenon without which the big bang theory would have been invalidated many years ago.

Excellent…a cosmic thumbs up!
What an absolutely incredible film this should be! Expect to hear a lot more about this as it will have a lot, if not most, of the scientific establishment in a total tizzy of discussion. If the truth be told, the scientific establishment along with the main stream media (no surprises there!) has been grossly culpable in not getting out the word about the decades long powerfully stunning new evidence which points to Earth as being the center of the universe. Those who would protest saying that the universe could not possibly be revolving around the Earth simply don’t understand the nature of the physics involved.
The major objections to the Earth being motionless and at the center of the universe can be seen — at least by those with a still willing mind — to be clearly refuted at sites such as http://www.galileowaswrong.com, http://www.gallileowaswrong.blogspot.com and http://www.geocentrism.com.
From a faith perspective Christians in particular should be able to clearly appreciate what is found at http://scripturecatholic.com/geocentrism.html.
May this movie The Principle really open the minds and hearts of many! It should be a real blessing for generations to come. Modern science — most grudgingly perhaps — is showing forth the glory of God’s design!

First, as the executive producer of The Principle, I want to thank “Before It’s News” for the very incisive article. The author summed up the issue very well. The movie covers a few more issues, but he got to the heart of it, and I couldn’t have said it better myself — “Be prepared to reconsider everything you thought was fact, and be ready to reconsider who we are and why we are here.” We, of course, do have our critics, as you can imagine having a story so shocking. For the record, a man by the name of David Palm (going by the moniker “thepalmhq”) a somewhat liberal Catholic who, as author David Wootten says in his new book, Galileo Watcher of the Skies, fits well this category: “The second problem with the liberal Catholic view is that it accepts without question the claims made on behalf of modern science.” The problem for Mr. Palm, however, is that he doesn’t know any science in order to judge whether what he is being told is correct or not, and thus he just follows the party line on everything cosmological. The Principle is anathema to people like him who want to preserve the status quo. But our movie allows for all views to be expressed, and the viewer can make up his own mind before he hears the biases of Mr. Palm. By the way, Mr. Palm’s website (besides engaging in calumny) deals only with the historical issues surrounding Galileo, and even then Mr. Palm doesn’t get the story correct. In the end, we have made this movie for you, for the human race, so that people can finally use the scientific evidence to support man’s significance, and give him meaning and purpose, instead of the constant drumbeat we have heard from people like Carl Sagan and Michio Kaku that we are nothing, lost among the myriad of stars in a lonely corner of the universe and forgotten by anyone or anything significant.
