1. Drywall Stilts

If you need to throw up some drywall in your home you may feel like that’s an impossible task, and you are bound to mess it up. That kind of attitude will get you nowhere. Putting up drywall is easier than you may think, particularly with the help of drywall stilts, which you may not have known even existed. 2. Taping the Outlets

If it’s time to paint the room, whether it be the living room or the bedroom, you’re probably loathing the time you have to paint around the outlets or light switches. The fine detailing you’ll need to do will surely cost you time and back breaking effort. That’s just not true – what you want to do is use simple masking tape and put the tape all around the edges of the sockets and switches, then you can paint as sloppily as you want (but look out for drips still) and then when it’s time to call it a day, remove the tape and voila, your plastic sockets and switch covers are unaffected by the day’s painting.

3. Knee Pads

One of the most difficult parts of home improvement is the back breaking nature of the activities. Particularly if you have to be on your hands and knees for a plumping or roofing project, you’ll feel the aches and pains and perhaps be uninspired to continue a project if it causes too much pain. There are things you can do to avoid the pain, and we always recommend knee pads to lay down and soften the surfaces for your tender knees. A little goes a long way in the knee pad department, and you’ll save a lot of wear and tear on your body which will allow you to plow forth on your project.

4. Multi Purpose Dolly

Hauling various different types of materials can be burdensome and difficult and can interfere in the project that you’re trying to get done over the weekend. Get yourself a dolly that can be adjusted to be a flat bed or also one that you stack boxes on and move them easily. The more versatile your equipment is the better your project will be. Just imagine being ready to work and realizing you have a ton of bricks to haul up the way. With a dolly, that job will be easy and will not hinder your productivity.
