Forrester Recognizes Branding Brand as Top Mobile Commerce Solution Provider

Global research and advisory giant Forrester just released its “Forrester Wave: Mobile Commerce Solution Providers, Q4 2013″ report to identify the 10 most significant mobile commerce solution providers with Pittsburgh-based Branding Brand topping the list.

Also making the list included July Systems, Kony, Mad Mobile, Merkle 5th Finger, Mobify, Moovweb, Netbiscuits, Skava, and Usablenet. Forrester noted that they are all strong performers, each with its own differentiated capabilities and market focus.

These vendors represent the leading edge of mobile commerce innovation. The evaluated vendors have four core common traits that differentiate them in the market: an obsession with and deep expertise in mobile commerce trends and metrics, a continually evolving platform on which they support their clients, rapid adoption of new device capabilities, and a portfolio of prebuilt commerce modules to accelerate delivery.

Finding the right solution depends on your mobile commerce strategy. The vendors featured in this research were not all created equal. Some are quasi-agencies (providing strategy, design, implementation, and support services), while others simply provide a mobile development platform for clients (or partners) to develop on. eBusiness leaders must have a solid mobile strategy in place before shortlisting vendors.
