USB Cables Are Going To Become Reversible.
Good news humans and techies, USB cables are going to soon become reversible. The USB 3.0 Promoter Group announced via press release that a new Type-C connector is in route. Said connector will be around the same size as a micro USB plug and reversible.
For now, mum’s the word on what type of speed we’ll see from this new connector and how soon we’ll start seeing it in consumer facing devices. Current projections have the spec being finalized in mid-2014 so there’s that.
