JunoTele Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has come up with a Really Real-Time Charging Platform (RRTC) that will allow mobile subscribers to recharge without interrupting their call.

What is Really Real-Time Charging Platform? RRTC utilizes a subtle and underlying signaling layer of telecom networks. This signal, though existent during all telecom communications, it is seldom used and hence is usually dormant. JunoTele’s Emergency Top-Up Service uses SS7 Signaling session, with no latency to prompt the caller about the impending balance exhaustion. The recharge happens in milliseconds, claims the company.

This is a very common occurrence when customers with low balance attempt to make a call. Though the call gets connected, as soon as the balance is exhausted, the call is disconnected with a low balance announcement, even if the conversation is still underway. JunoTele’s platform, assesses the credit worthiness of the prepaid customer in real time and based on the eligibility factor of the customer, it offers to recharge mid–way. In other words, JunoTele’s emergency top-up is able to instantly credit the caller’s prepaid balance and ensure the call isn’t disconnected.

The caller has to offer consent for the recharge to be executed with an SMS confirmation. The amount (adding JunoTele’s commission) is later deducted when the prepaid caller recharges via regular channels.
