BBM update was cool for the most part (v10.6.5.9)

As you already read all around and have already picked up the update probably, BBM updated yesterday to version 10.6.5.9.  Like others, I was fond of some of the features while others needed more acquainting to since it was just different.  BBM Stickers presence was definitely key in this last update.

Sending multiple files in one shot

One struggle I always had was being able to send multiple photos at the same time in BBM.  It sounds like a simple feature, but it was missing all along pretty much.  Now when you click the thumbnail and select a photo, it places a checkmark next to each that you select, and then in the upper right corner you hit “Done” after selection completion.   Sound familiar? The feature is pretty much based on the File Manager option “Select More” when managing files (copy, move, delete, etc.).  Again, not only for photos but files in general when sending through BBM.  Best feature of them all

Stickers in Group chats

I do chat in a few a groups on BBM, and while stickers are around BBM, I had no way of using them until the new update.  Simple as that like any other BBM chat, you can select stickers to send out.  This could be both good and bad – if you have some non-sense friends, sticker spamming away.  Not a huge feature in my liking but cool to have around.

Stickers now defaulted

One thing I am not too fond of is the stickers being defaulted when wanting to send a smiley.  I get what they’re doing – it’s a push to use Stickers more, and to obviously encourage you to purchase other stickers via the BBM Store.  I get it, I understand but it’s just new for me and I’m sure many others whose fingers became already too acquainted to pushing the smiley button for other smaller emoticons.  One feature request – I want to be able to at least choose which of the sticker selections I have as a default, so it doesn’t just show the latest Sticker collection I downloaded, forcing me to navigate left and right for the desired one.
