Is The Sony Xperia C6 coming With 16MP Front Camera?
Sony may have some new handsets on the horizon targeting the lower to mid-range spec. Two new model numbers have been revealed by GFXBench benchmark, outing the Sony F3216 and F3311. Both devices are armed with MediaTek chipsets and one of them has a 16MP front-facing camera. We have already heard that a new Xperia phone, probably the Xperia C6 or the next-gen Xperia C5, might come with a 6-inch screen and a front-facing flash, for those late night selfie takers. Now we have a new benchmark leak to add to the facts.
One of the smartphones listed on the benchmarking website is the Sony F3216. Going by the specifications and features is likely to be the Xperia C6. According to the listing, it features a 4.6-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, a MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 octa-core chipset, and 2GBs of RAM.
The cameras will no doubt be the talking points with a 21-megapixel camera at the back along with LED flash. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera. On the software front, it runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.
The other smartphone spotted on the benchmarking website is the Sony F3311. This is a lower-end device with features like 4.6-inch HD 720p display, MediaTek MT6735 quad-core chipset, 1.5GBs of RAM, and 16GBs internal storage. On the camera side of things it seems to feature a 13-megapixel rear-shooter, 5-megapixel selfie camera and it too runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.
