Oppo F7 with 6.2-inch FHD+ display, 25MP AI Beauty front camera set to launch in India on March 26
Oppo has been teasing the launch of its new smartphone, the OPPO F7, in India from the past few days. The company recently has confirmed that the smartphone will be releasing in India on March 26. Along with the release date, Oppo also have revealed some key specifications of the smartphone ahead of launch. As per these details, the handset is going to sport. a 6.2-inch 18:9 Full HD+ display, and a 25-megapixel front selfie shooter that will be accompanied by A.I beauty feature.
The F7 at the front is also going to offer the iPhone X style notch. Additionally, Oppo mentions that they are the first smartphone manufacturer from China who has obtained the patent for the Notch-shaped full screen. Interestingly Oppo’s companion brand Vivo is also releasing its Vivo V9 in India on March 23th, that is also going to come with the notch. Moving onto the F7 again, under the hood, it is believed to pack MediaTek’s octa-core SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. On the software front, the device could be equipped with Android 8.1 Oreo that will be customised with company’s Color OS 5.0 user interface.
In terms of imaging, there could be a single camera at the rear that might be accompanied by a 16-megapixel sensor. At the front, the smartphone is already confirmed to come with a 25-megapixel selfie shooter. The front camera is said to offer A.I beauty mode, and it could have AR stickers and some other essential hallmarks. The whole package could be powered by a 3400mAh battery.
