Science Cheerleaders on the Philadelphia Eagles Playoff Team
Hello, Science Cheerleader fans! It’s that magical time of year: the NFL Playoffs! And I’m certain you won’t be surprised to know that there are cheerleaders pursuing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers cheering on the sidelines. The first team we’re highlighting is Darlene Cavalier’s hometown team, the Philadelphia Eagles, who have a remarkable 13 (out of 35) STEM-minded cheerleading stars on their squad! They include:

| Gabriela, B.S. in Nursing, Orthopedic trauma nurse at Penn Medicine with the goal of obtaining a master’s degree in Acute Care | |
| Hayley, B.S. degree in Energy Business and Finance with a minor in Supply Chain and Information Systems Technology; she’s an Open Manufacturing Supply Chain Planner | |
| Jillian, Bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Science and English Education, 7th grade teacher | |
| KelseyRae, Currently pursuing a B.A. degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice and Sign Language; she plans to earn a doctorate degree in the field of forensic psychology | |
| Krystal, currently pursuing a Master of Education in Counseling and Psychology | |
