Instructions to install

Position the sink

The first and foremost step is to position your vessel sink on the top of the counter. In the case of Glass vessel sink, there could be a mounting ring or gasket in between the countertop and the sink. If your sink has one, then you must fix the ring on the top of the opening the drain and fix your vessel accordingly. In the case of other types of sink models, that do not have a mounting, you may need to use silicone caulk in order to fix the sink to the countertop.

Insert the tailpiece and drain flange

In order to insert that tailpiece and drain flange, you will need to use plumber’s putty. On the off chance that the drain has a rubber gasket then you just have to put it against the bottom surface off the drain flange.

After that, you have to insert the edge of the drain fitting tailpiece inside the sink drain opening. If there is lettering on the drain flange, you must position it in a way that the lettering reads uptight when you came down into the sink from the front.

Secure the tailpiece

After positioning each and everything mentioned in the above-mentioned step, it is now time to secure in a way that it doesn’t move easily, but also keep in mind that you do not over tighten it as it can damage the sink. In order to do that, you will have to use the fiction ring onto the tailpiece before using a mounting nut and fixing the nut as for as you can use your hands.

Assemble the drain

In order to do so, you will have to install a trap arm in between the branch drain pipe and the P-trap outlet in the floor or wall. In order to do that, you will have to use slip nut and after this, you must make sure that the Trap arm has a slide downwards towards the drain line. After this, it is essential to double-check all the fits in the drain and ending it by hand tightening the slip nuts but again be careful not took over tighten these nuts as it can damage the drain.

Test for leak

After the successful installation, it is now time to run a small amount of water in the sink and ensure there are no leaks if there are, certainly you can make usage of plumber’s putty to make sure the leak doesn’t last.
