1899

This German Netflix original series, with an international cast speaking numerous languages, was a breakout hit for Netflix. It was getting tons of word of mouth after its first trailer dropped and was an immediate success when it landed on November 17. The series follows a group of immigrants on their way to New York aboard a steamship when they encounter another ship. The second vessel is adrift and seemingly abandoned, but the group suddenly faces a series of bizarre mysteries upon investigating.

Andor

The best Star Wars title in years, Andor hasn’t had quite as much buzz as recent shows like The Mandalorian and Obi-Wan Kenobi, but it has managed to rank every week since its premiere, right up to its explosive finale in Novmeber, making it one of the most popular streaming shows of the month. The prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story follows Cassian Andor in the early days of the rebellion as he finds himself at a crossroads and up against the Empire.
