This is a nice devotional. At first I kind of got the feeling that Mr. Furtick is suggesting that we need to always be expecting huge miracles in daily life and I thought to myself that just wasn’t biblical, was it? I mean, sometimes we are called to a quiet, orderly existence. Not everybody has the same circumstances, right? But as I read on I realized he is calling us to a deeper, purer faith, and to be willing to ask and receive big things from God when the situation is requiring that. Too much “dead faith” these days I think. I’m excited for “the cure for the ordinary” in this 40 day devotional. He has a Bible verse reference for each day, and suggested “retweet”- which I don’t like for reasons I’m not sure of; and a prayer focus.
