Self Sufficient -- Rocket Stove 2.0

This product development is unprecedented and thus, I believe it deserves to be “news”.  The Gordon Rocket Stove provides a number of advantages that have never been available before.  It is a product of such simplicity - having no moving parts - that it is hard to believe that no one had already thought of it. ]

The Gordon Rocket Company has developed a line of premium, wood-fired stoves designed for camping, barbecues and home preparedness.  With “rocket” type combustion, the Gordon Rocket uses a uniquely tuned design to optimize the natural chimney-effect which pulls air into an enclosed combustion chamber.

As in all rocket-type stoves, wood-use efficiency is very high, while producing little or no smoke and self-cleaning operation.  My innovation was to put this idea into a mobile, reproducible, safe and effective device.

Unlike any other rocket stove, the GRS offers three-way cooking with a Stove, Oven and BBQ.  Proven in testing, each component offers high-heat and the Stove can warm water as quick as a conventional stove-top.  The BBQ sears the meat quickly and aromatic wood chips – while vaporized, seem to re-condense on the meat imparting a delicate, but smokey flavor.  Largely self-cleaning, it may be a master barbecuer’s perfect tool.

GR1 – Original Steel

Providing radiant heat as well as three simultaneous cooking surfaces, the GR1 – Original Steel is great for or patio, camping, hunting cook-outs.  A barbecue master’s dream, the GR1 uses your preferred wood for perfected smoke-flavored meats.  

Highly efficient with wood-use and able to slow-cook, the GR1 can easily provide six-person support for a horse-packing or car-camping adventure.

Doubling as a fireplace insert, this is a must-have product for home preparedness scenarios, allowing your family to eat and stay warm in local electrical outages or major grid-down events.  (BBQ use not possible indoors in fireplace insert configuration.)

GR2 – Mini Alu-Camper

The GR2 Mini Alu-Camper is designed for backpacking and camping applications.  Featuring the two cooking surfaces the Mini Camper is adequate to supply a two-to-four man group.

Like all Gordon Rocket Stoves, the GR2 comes apart and fits neatly into itself for compact mobility.  The aluminum is rust-free and almost indestructible.  Weighs 8 pounds and collapses to 12x7x10”.  The GR2 Mini-Camper Oven is still in development.

GR3 – Alu-Camper

Lightweight at only 16 pounds, the GR3 is all aluminum construction for BBQs on the run.  Perfect for beach or marine use, the rust-proof aluminum is lighter for packing.

The GR3 disassembles to 16x11x13”, yet easily supports six with simultaneous Bake, Boil and BBQ.

The Gordon Rocket Stove (GRS) is a heat-source and cooking device which maximizes the “rocket” approach to heating and cooking systems.  The Gordon Rocket Stove concept represents a defined improvement in rocket stove utilization offering portability and dependability.

Not an “open flame”, the enclosed combustion chamber of the GRS vaporizes wood at extreme efficiency, producing minimal smoke, while safely providing heat and eat capability with natural fuels.
