How to Assemble the Berkey® Water View Spigot

The Berkey Water Level View Spigot (AKA Berkey Sight Glass Spigot) is a helpful accessory to have for all of the stainless steel systems from the smallest size Travel Berkey to the largest size Crown Berkey.

This accessory displays the water level in the bottom chamber of the stainless steel systems without having to lift up the top chamber, which can be heavy when filled with water and filters.

The housing or metal tubing protects the glass cylinder which rests inside of it on top of a food-safe rubber washer. The metal housing has a hole in the top which allows for the air pressure to in the bottom chamber to match the outside air pressure of the Berkey, allowing water to flow when the spigot handle is opened to pour water.
