Backyard beekeeping is a great hobby with some amazing rewards. In this video we build a few Langstroth bee hives and assemble a premade hive kit with frames and other parts. If you want to keep backyard bees but have never done it before, this is a good place to start. I have included a list of resources below so you can get all the necessary equipment including the bees themselves with mated queen. Backyard bee keeping is an extremely rewarding hobby although not inexpensive or easy. It requires knowledge of bees and great attention to detail. For all of the cost, if you get proficient at bee keeping you can make your money back in the first season by selling the honey, You also do the world a favor by managing your own colony of pollinators.
