With the current shortage and price spike of eggs, the memes have started. Here are a few:

Or, as one headline put it, “Americans may need to reprioritize what is attractive in a good partner: Does he or she have chickens?”
We have neighbors with chickens. They sell eggs periodically. They had a sign by their driveway last summer that eggs were available for $3/dozen. The sign came down after a couple weeks. Last week the sign was back, this time advertising eggs for $4/dozen. The sign came down after a couple of days. I have a feeling they’re being besieged with demand, especially at those prices, and their hens can’t keep up.

The reason behind RIDICULOUS EGG PRICES has been MEDICALLY PROVEN
for a while, but no one caught this until now
Look at the DATES.
THEY KNEW AT the BEGINNING OF COVID that ….EGGS SCREWED UP the SPIKE PROTEIN……….
The RELEVANT DATE here is Nov 2020, right about the time that EGGS SKYROCKETED and they were destroying chickens left and right.
Want to know why, in the “civilized countries” eggs cost so much, meat costs so much and milk costs so much
HERE IT IS.
“Civilized” and “first world” are now obviously defined as “corruption without consequence”, MEXICO has no such issues, meat milk and eggs are about 20 percent higher than they were pre-covid and that’s it.
Good quality whole milk is about 75 cents a liter, eggs $1.50 a dozen if you want premium, less in the mercados.
In Mexico you know an egg is premium when it has printing on it (all the HIGH QUALITY EGGS ARE INDIVIDUALLY PRINTED on)
and that’s what I buy, the quality cut with the cheaper ones is not worth it for the price difference.

Abstract
The SARS-CoV-2 virus is still spreading worldwide, and there is an URGENT NEED TO effectively PREVENT and control THIS PANDEMIC.
This STUDY evaluated the potential EFFICACY of EGG YOLK ANTIBODIES (IgY) AS a NEUTRALIZING AGENT against the SARS-CoV-2. We investigated the NEUTRALIZING EFFECT OF ANTI-SPIKE -S1 IgYs on the SARS-CoV-2 PSEUDOVIRUS
, as well as its inhibitory effect on the binding of the coronavirus spike protein mutants to human ACE2.
Our RESULTS show that the anti-Spike-S1 IgYs showed SIGNIFICANT NEUTRALIZING POTENCY against SARS-CoV-2 pseudovirus, various spike protein mutants, and even SARS-CoV in vitro.
It MIGHT EVEN BE A FEASIBLE TOOL FOR the PREVENTION and control of ongoing COVID-19.
