Food Storage Recipe - 8 Can Soup

 This has quickly became a family favorite. A favorite for me because it is so easy to make and everything is always in my food storage. 

what you need :

                 Stockpot 

                 1 can pinto beans , drained

                 1 can black beans , drained

                 1 can corn, drained

                 1 can diced tomatoes 

                 1 can of chicken breast , drained 

                 1 10 ounce can green enchilada sauce – I actually leave this out most of the time

                 1 4 ounce can of diced green chilis – I actually leave this out most of the time

                 1 can chicken broth

                 1 packet of taco seasoning

                 1/2 teaspoon cumin, optional

                 1/2  teaspoon garlic powder, optional

                 1/2 teaspoon chili powder , optional

                 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, optional

                 salt and pepper 

Place all of the cans of items into the Stockpot. 

Stir in all of the seasonings.

Bring to a boil , then reduce heat and let simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes. 

Serve with garnishes of sour cream, shredded cheese or whatever you would like .
