Taiwanese Singer: One Would Regret Missing Shen Yun

TAIPEI, Taiwan—Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company performed at the Taipei Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall on March 22. After seeing the performance, famous senior Taiwanese singer Rain Hsieh said, “The music is great, and the synchronization of the music and dances is really very good.

“The colors of the costumes are very beautiful and righteous. I feel my whole body is very relaxed and comfortable. Everybody should come to see the performance, otherwise they will regret it,” he added.

Mr. Hsieh had come all the way from Kaohsiung to Taipei to see the Shen Yun performance. He urged the general public not to miss this opportunity. He said, “Everybody should come to see the Shen Yun performance.”

“The artists’ dancing skills are extraordinary. The colors [of the costumes and backdrops] are very beautiful,” Mr. Hsieh said.

Marveling at the fact that the music and the dances are all original and created every year by the company’s own composers and choreographers, Mr. Hsieh said, “Great music! Amazing how it can harmonize so well with the dances. Do they compose the music first, or do they create the choreography first?” he asked.

Mr. Hsieh commented on the program The Dafa Practitioner’s Magical Encounter, depicting the persecution of Falun Dafa, a traditional spiritual discipline, in China today. He said that the scenes depicting the rescue of Dafa practitioners by fairies should have touched the hearts of the audience. “In particular, in today’s society, seeing it would be of benefit to everyone in various aspects.”

Shen Yun Performing Arts will perform in Taichung at the JhungShan Auditorium on March 28. Mr. Hsieh said that on his return to Taichung he will recommend to his friends “to take this opportunity to see the performance.”

Mr. Rain Hsieh is known as an evergreen singing star in Taiwan. He first started singing in 1964 and has released over 100 albums in the past 40 years. In addition, he has also been a TV host and an actor of TV soap operas.
