I think it is becoming increasing apparent, that the current accepted models of the universe are far from conclusive. New evidences will probably prove much of it redundant in coming years.
Just about everything in the universe has wave properties, fairly predictable fluctuations. It isn’t unreasonable then to propose that the universe itself pulsates, so to speak.

If one looks at the raw data those rings are more imaginary than they appear here. I have not seen an independent analysis that agrees with that interpretation. Highly speculative.
Amacha is dead-on here. How is this true because some guy says it may be? While everyone else attacks well-established theories, this guy’s weak and unsupported hypothesis is suddenly holy gospel?? Has anyone wondered why these are shown as PERFECT concentric rings that just happen to be so from the viewpoint of the Earth? What if this is simply evidence that the big bang occurred further back in time than previously thought? What if this simply falls in line with the hypothesis of many previous expansions and deflations? What if some of you took an introductory science course before spouting off your worthless opinions which you are not qualified to make?
Only 14 Billion years old, pft. The size of the Universe, according to the Hubble deep field telescope is currently at 78 BILLION light years across. That is how long it would take you to travel from one side to the other IF you could travel at the speed of light.
The Universe is not expanding, we are just finding more of it. The Big Bang theory never worked passed the galactic level. A better theory of the Univese describes it as a giant torus. One side expanding out. the other side collapsing back in. We just happen to be on the expanding side.
Let’s apply some critical thinking skills here genius one. Say it’s 78 billion light-years across (you’re wrong btw). From a single point of origin, that’s only 39 billion light-years from the origin. Now factor in lots of really complicated math way beyond your paygrade and it’s easy to see how wrong your line of thinking is. Try again.
