FIRE IN THE SKY: Major Solar System Disturbance – NASA Records Giant Explosion On The Moon As Boulder Crashes At 56,000mph; Glowed Like A 4th Magnitude Star; Visible To The Naked Eye On Earth; Might Be Part Of A MUCH LARGER EVENT!

May 18, 2013 – MOON - For the past 8 years, NASA astronomers have been monitoring the Moon for signs of explosions caused by meteoroids hitting the lunar surface. “Lunar meteor showers” have turned out to be more common than anyone expected, with hundreds of detectable impacts occurring every year.

They’ve just seen the biggest explosion in the history of the program.

“On March 17, 2013, an object about the size of a small boulder hit the lunar surface in Mare Imbrium,” says Bill Cooke of NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office. “It exploded in a flash nearly 10 times as bright as anything we’ve ever seen before.”

Anyone looking at the Moon at the moment of impact could have seen the explosion–no telescope required.  For about one second, the impact site was glowing like a 4th magnitude star.

Ron Suggs, an analyst at the Marshall Space Flight Center, was the first to notice the impact in a digital video recorded by one of the monitoring program’s 14-inch telescopes.  “It jumped right out at me, it was so bright,” he recalls.

The 40 kg meteoroid measuring 0.3 to 0.4 meters wide hit the Moon traveling 56,000 mph.  The resulting explosion packed as much punch as 5 tons of TNT.

Cooke believes the lunar impact might have been part of a much larger event.

Huh, what caused it to flash or emit light? Reflected sunlight on particle refracted disruption? Or was it an internal chemical reaction through a mechanized self-induced atrophy by a reactionary movement?

That is the first thing I thought of as well. “Explosion”??? Does the moon have an atmosphere and oxygen to support fire? Have we been led down a road of deception of the moon’s previous findings? If this is true, then one would have to say yes to that statement.

      • Louis

The moon has copious amounts of oxygen dissolved in its rock surface.

      • stompk

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one questioning the oxygen situation. And the poster who said there is dissolved oxygen in the rocks, where are you getting you info, linky please.

And oxygen only dissolves in water. Do your research.

      A BOULDER you say.
Measuring approx. 300mm aka 1 foot.

Did you know the moon is hollow. They have purposely sent sattelites to impact the moon & when they hit the moon it reverberates like a bell. Taking hours for the ringing (so to speak) to end. It is true too. Someone is mining the moon.. and it isn`t us…

      • Confederate

“Did you know the moon is hollow” Kind of like your skull Cosmic!

    • The Thinker

Since the moon landings were all fake our astronauts never had to worry about lunar meteor showers.

They were testing missiles from their space platform. it seems asteroids are the theme of the day. A good cover for their experiments. I don’t believe a word NASA says, EVER. They have lied right from their inception and they spoon feed tripe to the ignorant masses. All of their pictures are artist impressions. It is just a big scam. They are not on Mars, the rover is taking pictures of Antarctic and they put a filter over it to make it look red. They have nuked the moon in the past. They only make up an excuse for something they are doing if they get caught, otherwise they slip as much past us undetected most of the time. I hate NASA so much, I feel cheated by them.

Don’t forget that when NASA was formed it became part of the Department of Defense. So now would you believe what comes from the Department of Defense?

    • Tedjusant

      Was it a
      A, a Boulder ,
      B, a Meteor,
C, a Weapon of mass destruction,
      D, a Falling Star.
A BOULDER WHAT DO YOU MEAN A BOULDER ,How come that these so called BOULDERS do not hit the earth, but only meterors . May be it was a boulder from the local quarry?
Thats the first time that I have heard them being called BOULDERS.

    • Tedjusant

      @ The thinker,
      It wasn’t a meteor ( IT WAS A BOULDER ).?

    • YellowRoseTx51

Interesting. I’ve noticed that there appears to be a ‘magnesium’ flare effect. There were a couple in Russia, Cuba. One woman tied it to a global array of planetary weapons satellite platform systems firing plasama balls. It has the same incredible bright light flaring, and hits like a bomb. Its on their own published papers and Nasa images.

“Cooke believes the lunar impact might have been part of a much larger event.”

I take it that Cooke is a bit cuckoo, just another one of the many American fear porn addicts that can’t wait to turn every minor drama into a major crisis.

That major solar system disturbance is the near presence of Planet X/Nibiru, which has been between the earth and the sun since 2003.
