Dr. Jeff Bell has his B.S. (Physics + Astronomy) Univ. of Michigan 1977 M.S. (Astronomy) Univ. of Hawaii 1979 Ph.D. (Astronomy) Univ. of Hawaii 1984. From 1984-2000 he was Professor of Planetary Science, Hawaii Institute of Geophysics, Univ. of Hawaii, he conducted research on mineralogical composition of asteroids from visible and IR reflection spectroscopy, he was a Science Team Member, Comet Rendezvous / Asteroid Flyby spacecraft (1984-88), and the Principal Investigator on several space mission proposals. Since 2003 Dr. Bell has written a semi-regular opinion column on space policy and technology for web site SpaceDaily.com, attempting to bring a more skeptical and realistic perspective to the pro-space community.

He holds an MA in International Affairs with an International Business Concentration from the George Washington University, and a B.A. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Binghamton.

Adam Brinckerhoff is a development engineer at SpaceUnited, a nonprofit humanitarian space agency based in Colorado. He has earned a BSE from the University of Michigan and an MS from the Georgia Institute of Technology, both in Aerospace Engineering. He has previously worked for Ball Aerospace, Intelsat Corporation, Orbital Sciences, and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Marshall Space Flight Center. When he’s not working, Adam enjoys traveling with his wife Pam, hiking with his dog Honey, and playing his piano Yamaha. SpaceUnited improves lives through space exploration. It was founded in July 2012, and Adam joined the organization in October of that year. He started and currently directs the Satellite Humanitarian Imagery Mission (SHIM-1), which donates imagery to relief organizations all over the world to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their work. Adam is also the lead fundraiser and content writer for SpaceUnited.

Dennis Wingo is the author of the recently published book, “Moonrush: Improving Life on Earth with the Moon’s Resources.” He was a founder of Orbital Recovery Corporation and CEO/President of Skycorp, Inc. He is a 22-year veteran of the computer, academic, and space communities and was an integral force in the use of commercial systems for use in space and flew the first MacIntosh on the Space Shuttle as experiment controller. Orbital Recovery Corporation is developing a way to extend the life of satellites by up to ten years or more and SkyCorp Inc. has developed a patented approach to the development of highly capable spacecraft manufactured on orbit on the Space Shuttle or International Space Station. SkyCorp has also qualified payloads for flight to the station via the Russian Soyuz vehicle, one of which was used in the filming of a commercial last year for the American retailer Radio Shack. Mr. Wingo received his degree in Engineering Physics at the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he won honors for his academic publications and for his unique approach to small satellite development.
