Added on Sept. 29, 2015: Reasons why it is not a rock

1. Red line 1 goes to a flat surface while red line 2 goes to a corrugated surface.

2. Red lines 3 and 4 go to the upward curving portions of the object.

3. The object is thinner than 1 cm (see mars.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/raw/?rawid=1087ML00477601405… )

Rocks that are so thin do not curve and corrugate like this.
