Destroyed Machinery & Artifacts Imaged By Curiosity Rover?

The Curiosity Rover is still sending back some mundane and blurry looking images lately.  When you enhance these images some of the most uninteresting images turn into literal goldmines of anomalies and machinery.  Most of which looks destroyed like the rest of the planet. 

This was sent over by our friend Kjell and when I opened it at first it didn’t seem to have anything other then what he pointed at in his image (shown in the video).  Then once I ran the auto color and adjusted some settings and then adjusted my eyes the whole image started to pop off of the screen and I could see the anomalies plain as day! 

NASA adds this butterscotch look to all of these images for a reason.  There is also a reason that the “Sand” always seems to have strange and funky square patterns to them when they are enhanced.  They are being manipulated somewhere along the way from the time the image is taken to the time it arrives at JPL.  I personally think it may be done by the rover and any signs of parallel lines or dark sand that looks like fresh water has been on it gets the blur effect first and then it may never even be touched up by human hands. 

It is amazing what a computer can do now to an image or file with the correct algorithms and equipment setup.  This is one you should download for your collection as well as some of the enhancements!  By now I hope a lot of you have been getting into these by yourselves and finding even more then I am!   Thank you all again for the amazing support!
