Mars is the next giant leap in the global space race – and Lockheed Martin is sprinting for the finish line.
The aerospace company is joining the likes of SpaceX in aiming to send people to the Red Planet. And the first stage involves putting a spaceship similar to the International Space Station (ISS) in orbit around Mars.
Known as the “Mars Base Camp” , this interplanetary ship will act as an orbiting outpost and science lab, staffed by up to six astronauts.
These astronauts will be able to perform real-time scientific exploration, analyse Martian rock and soil samples, and confirm the ideal place to land humans on the surface in the 2030s.

So, LM has receives massive amounts of taxpayer money to make phony ships that will never exist on a imaginary voyage to Mars. It’s a great scam. NASA/JPL all work together with contractors like Lockheed Martin to make get rich on the space hoax.
But Trump has called their card. Not even a month before the Vegas shooting, this huge disruption in NASA took place.
President Donald Trump recently announced his pick for NASA administrator: Rep. Jim Bridenstine, R-Okla., a former pilot whose goals for our solar system include installing humans on the moon and cleaning up space junk. He also has expressed skepticism about human-caused climate change.
NASA has lacked a permanent administrator since January. The previous one, former astronaut and retired Marine Corps aviator Charles Bolden, resigned the day that Trump took office. NASA’s associate administrator, Robert Lightfoot Jr., stepped in as the temporary head of the agency. Lightfoot holds the record for longest tenure as an acting NASA administrator.
The announcement, on Friday evening before Labor Day weekend, came after months of speculation that the 42-year-old representative from Oklahoma would get the nod. Last year, Bridenstine – a strong supporter of Trump during the presidential race - informally told the Trump campaign he was interested in a leadership role at NASA or the Air Force, The Washington Post reported three days after the November election.
