Documentary film “My Reincarnation” takes an intimate look at a much-discussed phenomenon

Reincarnation is an intriguing, if not sometimes baffling, concept for many of us. But the idea of better  understanding that concept is just part of what makes the new film, My Reincarnation, so interesting. As New York magazine writes, “If you want to know what Buddhist leaders are like in private, this documentary following the life of a Tibetan spiritual master [Chögyal Namkhai Norbu] and his complex relationship with his Westernized son [Yeshi] will make for fascinating viewing.” Here’s the film’s trailer:

The film will open in New York and Los Angeles this Friday, with a nationwide release to follow. Details on screenings follow.
