I got to see this movie a couple weeks ago, with my bro and two of my coolest friends.

I loved it.

You know how some new Christian movies are a little…cheesy? I mean, they can have really, really good storylines and morals, but the acting is horrid and the filming is a little off. Know what I mean?

Well, this movie has Robert DuVall in it, is rated G, and is Christian.

So I was really wondering what it would be like.

I wasn’t disappointed.

Lucas Black as…

Luke Chisolm

Never seen Lucas in anything else, but I really, really liked him.
(I did find out that he plays in ‘All the Pretty Horses’…haven’t seen that movie yet, so don’t recommend it1)
He has a GREAT Southern/Texas accent in here – which I’m not sure if it’s real or not, but…loved it.

I think he was perfect for the role of city-slick golfer = turns small town southern man.
Anyway, every guy looks better with a cowboy hat on, so…I definitely approved that.

They played GREAT opposite each other!! And honestly, I think they got along really well.

Robert DuVall as…

Johnny Crawford

Every character that Robert DuVall has played, I have loved.
He is always the perfect, older gentleman cowboy. (He didn’t have any guns in this movie, but…that’s okay)

This movie was no exception.

He’s a sweetheart

LOVE that!

He drives a fun truck!! Very hill-billy, cowboy style

A true gentleman is one who can hold a lady’s hand without it looking like he’s making a pass to her.

And plus, he’s a cowboy.

Okay, seriously…my guy friend (who was part of the group that all went together) kept saying how pretty she ^ is.
I think she’s cute…
A lot of red-heads aren’t, but I thought she was attractive.

I really, really liked her character…

I think her personality automatically gave her a beauty.

I like her hair here! ^

What could be more romantic than sitting on hay bales on a warm summer evening watching a show of fireworks??
Just try to beat that!

Okay, one of the things I really, really liked about this movie is…
the wardrobe/costumes.

The lady on the right is Sarah’s mama…I liked her too.

All in all, this movie is in my Top 10.
I loved it.
Loved the God-centeredness about it.
Loved the actors.
Loved the filming.
Loved the setting.
Loved the country/cowboy/twang/hill-billy/horse feeling.

I didn’t quite cry at any part!! Thought I did get a little misty-eyed.
