This quote by Lori Painter, a beautiful amazing life coach I just interviewed- was running in my head all day the other day.

I had just received a note from Tuaca Kelly (a medical intuitive and healer I had just interviewed too) that night asking me through a message Friday night – out of the blue, and for whatever reason I didn’t know then – if I had a Paypal account – I remember writing “No, haha” - I never really bothered to put one on my page because I thought I was okay. I was living with my parents. My child was getting some financial support from her father, and I can make do with everything I have, I didn’t feel I needed anything. I was writing and that was enough.

This was the exact response I got

” Well here’s what you’re going to do young lady:

- Set up a PayPal account.

- Choose an image you love with the word ‘donation’ on it, then e-mail it to me.

You have 24-hours to complete this task. Go!

I told her “I’ll do my best”. I could not promise anything.

It was as if a strong gust of wind shook me from where I was at that moment – I was in the brink of something – I was in a crossroad – and it really made me ask myself… “WHAT NOW, JUNO??” Honestly … I have always wondered how I will ever get to travel and continue with my service in the countries that call for me… I wonder how I can have my books printed out for people – I do not have a publisher… What can I do in preparation for my folks when they grow old? How can I provide for my daughter more? Should I go back to the rat race and work hard core for the MAN until I can once again save up and stop working so I can build a sustainable community and above all live my passion, which has always been writing? At 35 years old almost, how can I make certain that I living sustainably – at the same time do what I need to do, and live my life’s purpose? But what is most pressing these days is the fact that I have a sister in California who is very sick and constantly yearns for my company and aid. Her name is Kaye and I posted her Story on April 8 – I told her I’d be with her soon…. but how? Should I quit writing and go do something that obviously was not God’s plan for me? I cannot possibly leave what I am doing right now. – With every fiber of my being I know how important my work is and how much more it will flourish if I keep on doing what I am doing.

Brain indigestion.

I wasn’t a big fan of ‘Donate’ buttons – but something in me told me “JUST DO IT – THIS TIME IT’S OK” So I did. I followed my heart. I made one and posted it on my page. At the very core of me I still didn’t know what made me do this. I stopped asking the “why’s” when it comes to matters of the heart. I just trusted.

Dear Friends of Juno Cristi,

Last night sitting in my room where I’m guested in Glastonbury, England I got a message: “Juno needs to see her sister.” I had an image of them embracing each other. The feeling with that was love, relief and melting in tears of joy.

Immediately thereafter I sat at my computer and wrote Juno the following words no more, no less: “Do you have a PayPal account?” To my delight Juno was on line and replied seconds later stating that she didn’t. I took liberties in telling her she had exactly 24-hours to establish one. She did.

For Juno Cristi, love is not just a word…it is her world. An inspired writer exercising her healing work through prose and palabras (words), she touches each of us. Through her passion we’ve experienced intimate moments with people via SoulSpeak, had our hearts reflected in a poem, swam oceans through her short stories and clicked ‘like’ to share appreciation and resonance, nurture the relationship with our friend and to let her know love is not just a word to us.

Juno has also shared her personal heart and day to day life including her challenges and blessings through her generous posts. I echo the message I received regarding her family reunion and ask: how is an unpaid (financially-speaking) single mother who works full-time sharing her gift going to fly herself and daughter from Manila to California. My answer: with her friend’s help, And That Means Us.

In a few moments I’m going to post this on my wall and tag Juno (who may already have her suspicions due to my ‘request’ that she make a PayPal link, yet no particulars from me on the imminent gesture), asking her friends to make a voluntary contribution to support our dedicated Juno in enjoying a deeply meaningful and sought after visit with her family. Yay!

I for one am looking forward to the photos and inspiration that will come from not only her internal exploration but her external adventures (in California and elsewhere.)

I must have cried all night… I must have cried myself to sleep. Tears of joy, gratitude, love flow out for Tuaca, for everyone who started to help, for myself, for God… I never in my life imagined my prayers would be answered this way – but it happened.
