She is the founder of MiraclesofMind.org  Britney summarizes her mission statement as : “To eliminate all blocks to the awareness of  Love’s presence. To awaken others to our true divinity, and to inspire us to become powerful co-creators of our lives & world as directed by the Universal Power that created us.” Her page is such a wonderful collection of thoughts and reflections from the heart of the universe, seeking to share and unite us through inspired thought and action. Britney is also a part of a team of folks who are extremely passionate about bringing forward a school/community education center. It is called THE CENTER FOR THE ONE, where they are literally re-defining education for the world. It is a place where hearts and minds can come together to learn, to give, to contribute, and experience joy! Its focus is on all aspects of the Self: Mind, Body Spirit and it is for all ages young and old from all walks of life. Everything that is learned through Center for the One will be given back to ones community and world. It with great pleasure and joy that I share Britney’s journey and spirit with all.  

 

 

Who is Britney Shawley? Where is she now in her journey?

Britney Shawley is my name, Spirit is what I am…And currently I am doing my part in God’s Plan for the New Earth. I realized that I was born for a purpose, one that was not just my own. In my 5th and final year of University, I realized I had no idea what I wanted to do, but I was willing to figure out what I was born to do, and not what I was being told by those around me. Ever since, I have been on the path to finding myself and remembering what that purpose is. 

 

Shortly after graduating I handed my life to the Universe to guide me as to what would be most helpful for myself, and the world. I began with “LEEP (love yourself, enlightenment, empowerment, positivity) LifeCoaching” and these years were an experience of having no idea what was happening but trusting love all the way, and giving all fearful thoughts to my inner guide of love, and watching continual miracles unfold in my life because of it. I had no idea what I was doing at this point, but it was the faith and trust that was embedded within me, that drove me to do what was most helpful for the greater good of ALL.

 

The escapades of dancing on the wings of the divine and continual revelatory experiences inward, lead me to complete surrender in Oct 10/2010 on the beach of Maui Hawaii. I experienced in the depths of my being a voice and peace of light, communicate with me and tell me that I am an anchor of love in this world and I am here to make it a better place by healing my mind, and giving away all that I receive from within me.

 

I later came to know that this voice, was the voice of Jesus. (Love was the name for the power that I knew, and at this time in my life Jesus was “foreign” to me. But after this experience I knew him to be my brother, guiding me and loving me all the way.) I knew him to be a soul, infinite and eternal, beyond the body or character of Jesus. I was grateful to have this inner experience of truth and divinity. It changed my life entirely. After this profound experience of acceptance and gratitude, I came home and met my life partner Tom, and he introduced me to “A Course in Miracles”. Prior to this point, this text had been following me every where and I knew it was time to fully receive and accept this gift and apply it in my every day life and experience. I was ready to be a Teacher of Love.

 

In doing so, I changed my practice to Miracles of Mind in November 2010, and by December 2010, Center for the One began. Miracles of Mind is my personal way of expressing the transformation of my mind, and the remembrance of what I am as a Soul, and how the Love of God governs all happenings and Wills Perfect Happiness for all of us. All we need do is listen, and be willing to train our minds.

 

I now know my purpose, as I have received it from the Voice for Love within me, and I am grateful to know who I am and be fulfilling my part here effortlessly. I have complete faith in God, that all will be provided for, and that I will be told all I need to know in His Plan for happiness.

 

My life has been nothing but experiencing this truth and reality for myself. I am in no way religious…..but I have indeed found the Love of God within my own heart.

 

I am at the place in my life now where I am fully engaged in the gift of Center for the One, and on being vigilant for God and His Kingdom within my own mind. I am currently traveling to where ever is most helpful, with the purpose to bringing forward our worlds revolutionary system of service, education and enjoyment which encompasses Body Mind Spirit for anyone and everyone in the world. Needless to say I am very happy that I chose to trust Gods Will for me, even though I did not know what it was at the time, because now I am making a big difference in the world by simply being what I am.

 

I am now demonstrating to others that we are all equal, and are awakening together. All we need do is to trust the voice for Love within, and believe in the Self knowing that we deserve the best of everything. From here, the way to peace is shown to us, and it becomes effortless as we step out of our own way and let it flow on through.

 

Your dreams and aspirations as a child.

As a child I had no idea what I wanted to be when I grew up. I always had this feeling of “something huge”. I tried to categorize it in the best way I knew how from the choices that my teachers and parents had given me, as to what I could do in this world.

 

The closest idea to me at the time was an actress. I thought that they had the ability to reach the most people, and communicate in many different ways. I did not realize however, that actresses were told what to say and it wasn’t truly “them”. Upon further consideration I realized an actress was not the best part for me. I am however, still open to communicating freely on television or radio of any kind. There is no more fear, only freedom to be expressed.

 

What was the inspiration for “Miracles of Mind?”

The inspiration for it came when I realized I could no longer call myself a LifeCoach. I realized that in labeling myself as something, then I was hiding behind an idea that was not my true identity. Since my focus was “to know my self”, I was willing to drop the label of LifeCoach, and seek for my true identity where it is, within. Upon doing so I was open to a new title that could represent my purpose, versus a label for self.

 

In communication with Tom, and a dear friend and sister Rebecca, the inspiration for the title Miracles of Mind rung true. For me Miracles is another word for forgiveness. Forgiveness is the power of restoring our mind to proper perception, right vision. This vision we all share as the One Self that we are. In asking for forgiveness, from Spirit within, my vision continued to be restored and purified to hold only love. In wanting to give this gift to everyone, I use Miracles of Mind as a platform to do just that. I am now able to give the gifts I receive, away, and miracles and forgiveness becomes a natural extension to all my brothers and sisters who come into my experience to heal and share with me.  

 

 

Your thoughts on this year, 2012.

I believe that 2012 is the end of the world AS WE KNOW IT. I do believe that this world had its purpose up until this point. That purpose was to experience what it might be like to be separate from each other, and separate from our creator. Because of that we all have our separate wills, our separate religions, we have our separate ideas on truth, we have separate bodies, everything… this whole thing of separateness. I do believe that what’s happening in 2012 is that people are waking up to that spark, that light that is already within us and remembering that its much better when we work together instead of against one another, and that we truly are united, not in body, but in mind and Spirit. As we join in purpose and in love , we can really really come together and co create this world of peace together.

 

If you could be anywhere right now at this very moment, where would you be?

I would be right here. I would not want to be any where other than where I am. I love everything about what is transpiring and I do not wish for me to be any where other than exactly where I reside in this moment. Besides, in this moment I am in Vancover! This spontaneous and divine vacation came into our experience as soon as we asked for it. Our stay here in Vancover BC has extended now, so we will be lapping up the beauty even more. So I would truly, not change a millesecond of anything in my life, or where I am.  

 

You’re a super hero, you can change one thing about the world, what would you change?

Since I have experienced a true shift in perception, I truly feel that we ARE superheroes and we can do ANYthing! From this awareness my part has been given me to help change the way our entire world runs and operates, through a brand new system of education that is based on resources and contributions. So I feel I AM changing the world, and it is through New Education. Our world needs this. Education should no longer be only for the young or the rich, or to memorize and repeat facts and information alone. But rather it should be practical and encompass intention and wisdom that inspires creativity and contribution to ones community and world. Our new education, feels as if it is a super hero task, and I am loving it.

 

What have you learned from yourself in the last 3 years?

Wow… so much. These last 3 years have been powerful transformations that have lifted me out of my own illusions of mind, to the reality of what is taking place. I have learned everything from my highest self. I brought everything inward in order to have it released, purified or clarified.

 

What I have learned the most is that there is two very distinct thought systems: love and fear. We always have a choice between the two. Either we are coming from the ego (fear) or its coming from our divine mind (God or Love). We must take full responsibility for our lives and our thoughts, and know that we have the means within us to undo every last bit of fear, so that together we reside in peace and cocreate a world of peace.

 

This forgiven perception is not only to help us and our individual lives, but those around us and the entire world. The change begins in the mind, and then reflects in our outer experience.

 

Since hypnosis and NLP were the first two modalities I dove into, I quickly understood how the inner mind works. Through my own experiences and transformations within my own mind, as well as assisting others with their mind, I know it IS possible to live a life of perfection and joy. It is our perception that needs to change, and then our life reflects that change. So as I gave to others, I gave to myself…. and this golden rule is the basis for my entire life now.

 

I was guided to the fastest route to healing our minds and lives, and eventually realized that instead of hypnosis being the tool and me being the teacher… that miracles are the tool, and the holy spirit (highest self) within all of us is the teacher.

 

So I realized the power does not come from me, but through me. We are here to undo our mind of fear, with our inner teacher of Love (higher self) and to let our part in Gods Plan be given us once we create space within, to be His vessel of Love. So this is what I truly learned over the last 3 years, and that limitless possibilities abound for all of us when we take responsibility for our lives and come together to collaborate and co-create!

 

And what have you un-learned?

I have unlearned every thought of separation (worry, confusion, doubt, fear pain of all kinds) that I previously accepted from others within my own ego mind. I had to experience what I was not (ego), in order to remember what I was (Spirit). In growing up we learn everything from whats out side us. Our only function from the moment this awareness dawns on the mind, is to unlearn what we think we know. So like I mentioned before I spent 4 years diligently training my mind, and unlearning what I learned.

 

When this happened, what I realized, was that undoing the false is easy when we are willing to know the truth within us. Only that which is false falls away, what is true remains. 

 

So all that I unlearned cannot be remembered, as it does not matter what is no longer helpful; What matters is what I have learned. And I have learned that we are whole, eternal, perfect children of Love, and can make a true difference in this world when we come together for purpose and to help others, which in turn is helping ourselves.

 

What is LOVE?

This is not a question that can truly be answered. As it is a knowing within each of our hearts, it is a feeling beyond the descriptive words. Love is what we are, as it is what God is and created us to be. Love is beyond the world of form and resides within eternity. It is ever present and so very powerful and alive. It is an essence, a beingness that is the same in all of us, as it IS us. It can not change, faulter or stop in anyway. Our thoughts of fear can cloud it for a while, but it will never go away or change in any regard.

 

When I first began my practice I was writing a book called the “transformative power of love”…as it truly is transformative…. but I do believe that through personal experiences, is how we truly learn what love IS. It is through the experiential awakening inwards, that we can share what Love is through demonstrating it to others because we have accepted it as true for ourselves.

 

Words damper its power. It can only ever truly be felt in the heart. When we become unwilling to accept anything in our minds and hearts other than love, then indeed all lessons will present itself to undo the blocks to the awareness of love’s perfect presence. The only true stable love there is, is Gods Love which is here and now within us. The love of this world, is NOT what love is, as love is changeless, whole, perfect and for all.

Gods Love is the only true love there is. It is One, and we share it wholly and equally with all and it can be the state we reside in always, as it is us.

 

What are you most grateful for?

I am grateful to God. I am grateful to have remembered who I am and what we all are. I am grateful to be aware and awake within the dream. I am grateful for happiness, giving, love and joy which is continual and always when we follow Gods Will. I am grateful to be spreading this remembrance around the world so we all may awaken together and in JOY!

 

Other than your fantastic media presence and helping others eat and live consciously, what other passions do you enjoy?

I enjoy traveling, hiking, being with people, communicating, laughing, napping, soccer, so you think you can dance, the voice, avocados and anything that brings people together. I love life, and to share this joy of life with others is what I live for. And obviously, my most greatest passion right now which is the Center for the One.

 

You’re face to face with your 10 year old self, what one piece of advice would you give YOU?

You are not this body that you see in the mirror. Look beyond it to the light and you will see the real you. Your worth is not established by any body image, money, person or job. Your worth is established by God.

 

Be conscious every time you think negatively about you, or any one else, and know that these thoughts are NOT your reality and that there IS a correction for them.

 

Remember that Love is the answer to everything. Hand over your mistaken thoughts for correction, and you will experience the love in your heart cleanse them away.

 

In this space, and openness will your true thoughts and remembrance of Love be given you. In feeling this Love, hold it tight, and give give give it away.

 

Give everything you wish to receive away. Follow this one law and you will be free. Simply love yourself, know that you are love, and give it away to all who cross your path. I love you.

 

Tell me more about The Center for One. What’s it all about and what plans/good stuff do you have upcoming? 

The Center for the One is both a School and a Community Center.  These two functions are fully integrated together into the very core of how it operates.  It is a School, because it helps in the development of new skills and understandings.  It is a Community Center because it is used to give back to the community, and to help to bring people together. 

 

Its principles are: Education ~ Co-Operation ~ Contribution ~ Enjoyment.

 

Our variety of courses, services and events are designed to encompass Body, Mind & Spirit, and each one will fully and intentionally express the principles of the Center for the One.  Each one will share new skills and help instill positive attitudes centered around harmony, teamwork and co-operation.

 

The Center for the One, through its programs, will be very involved in the community.  The Center’s purpose is to support, to strengthen, to help, and to bring happiness to its community in a very direct fashion.

 

It is not an organization built to compete with anyone.  Our community relations policy is one of sincere co-operation, collaboration and support towards all other organizations, businesses and schools within the community.

 

I am absolutely honored to be a part of the Center for the One team. We truly are bringing forward to new system of education for children, teenagers, adults and elders alike. The coolest part about it is HOW it operates, as it is not like anything else in the whole world. It truly is revolutionary. It truly is here to help.

 

We have our first semester beginning in January 2013. We will have an assortment of courses offered. Most will be held in the Simcoe County area, as well as Toronto and online. Any regrets?

There are NO regrets. I feel since I have given my life to God, all has unfolded naturally and perfectly. I have truly learned to step out of my own way, and not to take anything personally. Because of this, I know that everything is unfolding perfectly and happening for my, and every ones highest good. If it does not feel like love, then its not, and I can hand it over for correction.

 

This is our power in this world.

 

True transformation of mind, extends to a transformation of life. Thus instead of wishing I did something different, I am able to ask for correction of my thoughts instead, and heal my misperceptions through love. Its a beautiful thing.

 

All is unfolding perfectly, all IS perfect…. we are here to rejoice and celebrate in this together. The New Earth, the new way is here. Love and Peace to all!

 

Your thoughts on this year, 2012.

If you could share one message to the children of the world, what would it be?

I would give the same advice above. This goes for all children, including myself. All adults too. We are all here to remember this world is a dream and to awaken from it. Each time we are willing and ask to know something without already thinking we know, we are told from Spirit within the truth. In this openness to learn and to embrace perfect happiness, we are shown the way to peace, fulfillment and joy.
