Pharisee writing Luke thoroughly twists the parable of the sower EXACTLY as Jesus said would happen

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Let’s start with the truth — Jesus’ words as recorded by his true Apostle Matthew in Chapter 13

18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

…And now Pharisee doctrine as recorded in Luke (NEVER an Apostle) Chapter 8:

11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

point #1 the phrase “and understandeth it not” is missing! (This omission also occurs in Mark)

point #2 the phrase “lest they should believe and be saved” is added, laying the foundation for the ‘once saved, always saved’ lie — Jesus said “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Matthew 24:13

13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

point #3 Here temptation is the reason for falling away…but the truth is “when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended”

point #4 “which for a while believe” replaces “but dureth for a while”, so that these people can be counted as saved believers who are now backsliden, i.e. Christians who act evil because of temptation!

!!!Are you disgusted yet at how deep the deception has been!!!

14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

point #5 “go forth” added…because hypocritical lovers of money “compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves”

point #6 “bring no fruit to perfection” replaces “becometh unfruitful” SO THAT CHRISTIANS can still get credit for imperfect, rotten fruit when Jesus says “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:48

15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

point #7 A pleasant sounding but blasphemous addition — “an honest and good heart” –  but Jesus said “I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.  The righteous ALREADY bear good fruit.

point #8 DELETED for a second time like bookends “and understandeth it”  The word of the kingdom must be understood or it’s all a waste…fruitless!!!

point #9 A critical addition “bring forth fruit with PATIENCE” because those church leaders don’t want some uppity milk-drinking, new convert upsetting the apple cart with the truth…you need maturity through Paul’s teachings!!!  But what did John the Baptist say “Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance” Matthew 3:8  That’s right, start being fruitful immediately because that is evidence that you love the light.

One last distinction between Matthew’s testimony and the books of Luke and Mark is the use of singular (individuals) and plural (e.g. the laity):

“When any ONE heareth the word of the kingdom” “This is HE which received seed by the way side”

“THOSE by the way side are THEY that hear”
“And THESE are THEY by the way side”

The parable of the sower in Matthew 13 DOES NOT mention belief or salvation but fruitfulness!!  Even right here “the wicked one…catcheth away that which was sown in his heart” and replaces it with deception IMMEDIATELY.

You must LOVE the truth to recognize lies A Great Unseen Evil

Person making this post has fallen into a common error when doing a Bible study. Jesus Our Lord was a preacher. He spoke to many groups. It is likely he told “The Parable of the Sower” more than one time, to more than one audience. Depending on the situation, he used different phrases, highlighting different points. Instead of calling the author of the Gospel of Luke a Pharisee, remember that the whole counsel of God provides the truths of God, salvation, and the conduct God requires of believers. A little humility on your part is a good idea, too.

I study the words of Jesus Christ as recorded by his true and known Apostles John and Matthew…NOT the bible, a work forcibly cobbled together by wicked men and codified in 325 AD at the Council of Nicea under penalty of death by the emerging Roman Catholic Church. Are you Catholic? If not, why do you accept their choice of Scriptures?!

What IS likely is that Jesus told the truth when he warned “BEWARE the doctrine of the Pharisees”. Do you believe Paul’s words (that he was called from heaven blinded like a UFO encounter) over those who walked with God in the flesh? WHY!

4DM wrote “It is likely he told “The Parable of the Sower” more than one time, to more than one audience.” IRRELEVANT…because I only compared Christ’s interpretation of the parable which was not given to the multitudes.

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

        Matthew 13

This analysis, proves that knowledge and wisdom are two different quantifiable conditions. A person can have all the knowledge available, and still not understand the word of God, or His reasons, wake up!!

Only one reply fits here from the words of Pharisees.org “anyone who hears Christ’s gospel and does not understand is evil to begin with. What is there not to understand about: EVILDOERS, STOP DOING EVIL. Non-Evildoers, God Is Pleased With You. Matthew 9:13 I came to call sinners [evildoers] to repent, not the righteous. Christ put it another way, those who are well (non-evildoers) do not need a physician, only those who are sick (evildoers).”
