I told you I would do articles on the Words given to the prophets so we can understand more about how and what Father will do during the last days.  I pray that you have the correct timeline now after reading with me the book of Revelation.

 

 Zep 1:1  The Word of Jehovah which was to Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah: 

Zep 1:2  I will completely gather away all from on the face of the ground, declares Jehovah. 

 

many say that the prophets words have all come to pass.  When has everything been gathered away from the ground of either Israel or the whole earth?  So we know that some of the prophecies in this book may have come to pass as Father told it, but that some parts, like this line are yet to come.  But part of faith is believing everything Father said will come to pass.

 

Zep 1:3  I will gather away man and beast: I will gather away the birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea, and the stumbling-blocks, even the wicked. And I will cut off man from the face of the ground, declares Jehovah. 

 

thats pretty clear… men, beasts, the righteous and the wicked.  What are the stumbing blocks?  Those evil spirits that Father declared would exist at the time of the flood.  You can read about that in the book of Enoch.

 

Zep 1:4  I will also stretch out My hand on Judah and on all those dwelling in Jerusalem. And I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, the name of the idol worshipers, with the priests; 

Zep 1:5  and those bowing to the host of the heavens on the housetops; and those bowing, swearing to Jehovah, also swearing by Malcham, 

Zep 1:6  and those drawing back from after Jehovah, and who have not sought Jehovah, nor asked of Him. 

Zep 1:7  Be silent before the face of the Lord Jehovah, for the day of Jehovah is near. For Jehovah has appointed a sacrifice; He has consecrated ones He called. 

 

The Day of the Lord, or The Day of YHWH.  That is the day of His wrath the end of time and His millenial is the last day, by His timing, of the age we are living in now.  Who are the consecrated ones He called?  Those who made the first resurrection , please read all the articles on Revelation and you will know who this is.

 

Zep 1:8  And it shall be in the day of the sacrifice of Jehovah, I will punish the rulers and the king’s sons, and all those clothed in foreign clothing.

Zep 1:9  And I will punish all those who leap on the threshold in that day, who fill their masters’ houses with violence and deceit. 

Who is this?  these are people that keep the traditions of religion.  The jjumping the threshold comes from the time when Dagon the idol fell and broke on the threshold of the door long ago when the ark of the covenant was taken from Israel.  The followers of Dagon started a tradition that they never put their foot on the threshold of a door.  So let this speak to those who keep Christmas and Easter traditions.  Like the stepping over the threashold these traditions come out of religions other than the one Father taught us to keep in His Word.  The feasts of YHWH  are the Feast of Unleavened Bread and Passover, Shavuot, the fast of Yom Kippur , Rosh Ha Shanna and Sukkot. These are not Jewish feasts, look at the Word , Father declares they are HIS FEASTS.  You can learn about them, without the adding to them that the Jews have done here: Karaite Korner

 

Zep 1:10  And it shall be in that day, declares Jehovah, the sound of a cry from the Fish Gate, and a howling from the Second, and a great breaking from the hills. 

Zep 1:11  Howl, those living in Maktesh, for all the people of Canaan have perished; all those carrying silver are cut off. 

Zep 1:12  And it shall be in that time, I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and punish the men being settled on their lees; who say in their heart, Jehovah will not do good, nor will He do evil. 

Zep 1:13  And their goods shall become a prize, and their houses a waste. They shall also build houses, but not live there. And they shall plant vineyards, but not drink their wine. 

Zep 1:14  The great day of Jehovah is near; it is near and rushing greatly, the sound of the day of Jehovah. The mighty man shall cry out bitterly there. 

 

This is the ending , right before Father clears the decks, today in fact where men and women are saying, this stuff I am writing is worthless, nothing has ever “come to pass” and it never will.

Father is telling us they will say these things.  Their own words are a fulfillment of the Word.

 

Zep 1:15  That day is a day of wrath, a day of distress and pressure, a day of waste and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness, 

 

This is a constant in most of those telling about this day.  The sun will be darkened.  Whether that is in Jerusalem or the whole world I cannot say.

 

Zep 1:16  a day of the ram’s horn and alarm against the fortified cities, and against the high towers. 

Zep 1:17  And I will bring distress to men, and they shall walk like the blind, because they have sinned against Jehovah. And their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh like dung. 

Zep 1:18  Their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Jehovah. But all the earth shall be consumed by the fire of His jealousy. For He shall make a complete, yea, a speedy end of all those living in the land. 

 

All those who do not believe and who rail against the Word and those who speak about it, will suffer.  I am afraid for you and pray for each of you daily.
