Proof From Mark that Messiah taught the Old Testament and His Father is the God of the Old Testament

This is an ongoing series of articles written in response to David Vose new theory that the God of the Old Testament is not the Father of Messiah and that in fact Messiah taught against the entire Old Testament especially the commandments or “the law”.  

I am giving not just him , but all who may have even listened to him for a moment the proof from the New Testament that this is in fact nothing but fantasy and lies.  I covered Matthew earlier and you can find that here:

Mar 1:1  The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, 
Mar 1:2  as it has been written in the Prophets, “Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who will prepare Your way before You; 
Mar 1:3  the voice of one crying in the wilderness. Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight.” Mal. 3:1; Isa. 40:3 

The begining of the book of Mark starts out with a quote from the JEWISH men who believed and served YHWH the God of the OLD TESTAMENT telling us that Messiah was to come and for men to prepare for His coming.  

Mar 1:11  And there was a voice out of the heavens, You are My Son, the Beloved, in whom I have been delighting. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1 

Here the Father YHWH HImself , Father of Messiah quotes the OLD TESTAMENT in HIs telling His Son of His pride in Him for all to hear.

Mar 4:9  And He said to them, The one having ears to hear, let him hear. 
Mar 4:10  And when He was alone, those around Him, with the Twelve, asked Him as to the parable. 
Mar 4:11  And He said to them, To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. But to these, those outside, all things are being given in parables, 
Mar 4:12  that seeing they may see and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand, lest they should convert, and the sins be forgiven to them. Isa. 6:9, 10 

Here Messiah tells the secret of secrets, that some men will not hear truth and understand it, but might fall into the truth and so it is best for Him to teach in riddles so that only who Father allows to see and to hear will see and hear.  Perhaps this is the bases of the problem with Mr. Vose’s studies.

.Mar 4:26  And He said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed on the earth, 
Mar 4:27  and should sleep, and rise night and day; and the seed should sprout and lengthen of itself, as he does not know. 
Mar 4:28  For of itself the earth bears fruit: first greenery, then an ear, then full grain in the ear. 
Mar 4:29  And when the fruit yields, immediately he “sends forth the sickle, for the harvest has come.” Joel 3:13 

Notice how again and again Messiah is quoting the OLD TESTAMENT by heart to those He is teaching?  His knowledge and love for THE OLD TESTAMENT is clear for all who are able to see and hear TRUTH.

THIS NEXT PART IS CRUCIAL TO UNDERSTANDING WHAT MR. VOSE DOES NOT, THAT THE JEWS OF THE TEMPLE HAD NOT BEEN KEEPING THE OLD TESTAMENT LAW, INSTEAD THEY HAD WRITTEN THE TALMUD AFTER BEING THROWN OFF THE LAND INTO CAPTIVITY IN BABYLON AND ON THEIR RETURN IT WAS THIS BOOK , THE TALMUD THAT THEY HONORED NOT FATHER’S TORAH.

Mar 7:6  And answering, He said to them, Well did Isaiah prophesy concerning you, hypocrites; as it has been written: “This people honors Me with the lips, but their heart is far away from Me; 
Mar 7:7  and in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” Isa. 29:13 

The Talmud is supposed to be a commentary based on the TORAH or the first five books of the OLD TESTAMENT.   But it is in fact doing exactly the opposite of what Father warned all of Israel not to do when He gave them Torah.

Deu_4:2  You shall not add to the Word which I command you, nor take from it, to keep the commandments of Jehovah your God which I command you. 

The things Mr. Vose tells us that is Messiah rebelling against the OLD  TESTAMENT is only Messiah rebelling against the additional things that the Talmud added to the Torah.  Those are the things that the priest and scribes are finding fault with Messiah about.  Father is very clear about what can and cannot be done on Sabbath,  Picking an apple to eat is not ‘SERVILE WORK” .  Going out to gather wood, and starting a fire from scratch with that wood, that is ‘SERVILE WORK”.  Mr Vose has never studied to understand the Torah and so we cannot fault him for his ignorance, only the lies he created out of that ignorance.  As it is written, it is best to remain silent when you are a fool.  Why would someone who has not studied something think they understand the subject enough to either prove or disprove it as truth?

So above this began the discussion between Messiah Joshua or Yahushua in Hebrew, and the scribes about his not keeping the laws of the TALMUD.  And Messiah sets them straight about it.quoting Isaiah again and telling them they are not keeping the commandments but the ‘DOCTRINE OF MEN’ .  Unfortunately Mr. Vose has also created a DOCTINE OF MEN with the idea that the God of the Old Testament is not the Father of Messiah.

The next statements are Messiah teaching the truth of the COMMANDMENTS to the scribes which have forsaken them for the Talmud and I will explain this to all of you who have not studied the OLD TESTAMENT and so do not understand them.

Mar 7:8  For forsaking the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men: immersings of utensils and cups, and many other such like things you do. 
Mar 7:9  And He said to them, Well do you to set aside the commandment of God so that you may keep your tradition? 
Mar 7:10  For Moses said, “Honor your father and your mother;” Ex. 20:12; Deut. 5:16 and, “The one speaking evil of father or mother, let him expire by death.” Ex. 21:17 
Mar 7:11  But you say, If a man says to his father or mother, Corban, (which is, A gift!) whatever you may profit by me. 
Mar 7:12  And you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or mother, 

This text first of all is the LITERAL text, or a literal translation of every word of the Massarah or the oldest Hebrew Texts written that we have available today.  

The first line:

Mar 7:8  For forsaking the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men: immersings of utensils and cups, and many other such like things you do. 

there are Talmudic traditions about hand washing before eating and washing of pots and utensils to make them kosher THAT FATHER NEVER PUT INTO THE TORAH.  That Father YHWH never even thought of that men should do.  These are the imaginings of men and Messiah is clear in telling these men that the have ABANDONED TORAH for the TRADITIONS OF MEN.  This is not what David Vose is telling us in his videos.  He had no understanding of the Torah or the Traditions of the Talmud, instead he is confusing them as the same and so this basis for his whole theory is based on this confusion and is become because of it, a lie.

I use Messiah’s own words here for David:

Well do you to set aside the commandment of God so that you may keep your tradition? 

David’s tradition is to hate all things that he thinks COME FROM THE JEWS.  

The Messiah knows that these men have forsaken the Torah or THE OLD TESTAMENT AND ARE NOT KEEPING THE LAW IN THE WAY THAT FATHER SAID TO KEEP IT and He says so here:

Mar 7:10  For Moses said, “Honor your father and your mother;” Ex. 20:12; Deut. 5:16 and, “The one speaking evil of father or mother, let him expire by death.” Ex. 21:17 
Mar 7:11  But you say, If a man says to his father or mother, Corban, (which is, A gift!) whatever you may profit by me. 
Mar 7:12  And you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or mother, 

See Messiah is quoting the commandment for honoring your father and mother.  Don’t the Jews keep the commandments?  Isn’t this what David and other have been telling us?  Well they didn’t and this is what Messiah is telling them about what they ARE DOING.  Which is, to twist the commandments into something that Father never intended in order to GET AROUND KEEPING THE LAW AND THE COMMANDMENTS OF YHWH.  Which is still what the Jewish religion or most of it, does to this day.  They instead of keeping the commandments which simply say “honor your father and mother” PERIOD they are doing something else to get around honoring the parents like Father YHWH said to do.

Let start by understanding what Messiah is saying here first of all what is this Hebrew word here CORBAN?

Of Hebrew and Chaldee origin respectively [H7133]; a votive offering and the offering; a consecrated present (to the Temple fund); by extension (the latter term) the Treasury itself, that is, the room where the contribution boxes stood: – Corban, treasury.

So it is an offering given in the temple … notice the key words here? IN THE TEMPLE… so these pious Jews would allow their parent to starve to death, because they would not give them money as “a gift” or as the dictionary again tells of that phrase:

The Talmud tells us that only through the temple or synagogue can any “CORBAN” or sacrifical gift be made.  These men would not help poverty stricken parents because they were “breaking the laws of the TALMUD.  And clearly here, Messiah is telling them that they are defiling the LAW AND THE COMMANDMENTS OF HIS FATHER AND GOD BY DOING SO.

I will end this today here with the KJV of this text so you can see it from that perspective as well and pray that the true understanding of the conflict that Messiah had with the temple authorities of His day are made clear to you in your mind and the misunderstandings that you have heard will be fully erased from it.
