Peter Teaches us who His God is and who the Son of God is from The Words of the OLD TESTAMENT

So in the book of Acts Peter is preaching and on a feast day, the day of Pentacost, which means the50th day and its the50th day after Passover.  A feast of YHWH.  Which he and all of the disciples and others are keeping:

Lev 23:37  These are the set feasts of Jehovah which you shall proclaim, holy gatherings, to bring a fire offering to Jehovah, a burnt offering, and a food offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, the thing of a day on its own day; 
 

Lev 23:15  And you shall number to you from the next day after the sabbath, from the day you bring in the sheaf of the wave offering; they shall be seven complete sabbaths; 
Lev 23:16  the next day after the seventh sabbath, you shall number fifty days; and you shall bring near a new food offering to Jehovah; 

Act 2:1  And in the fulfilling of the day of Pentecost, they were all with one mind in the same place. 

And Peter being filled with the Holy Spirit begins to teach from the OLD TESTAMENT.

Act 2:17  ”And it shall be” in the last days, God says, “I will pour from My Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy;” “and your young men shall see visions,” “and your old men shall dream dreams;” 
Act 2:18  ”and also I will pour out My Spirit on My slaves and slave women in those days,” and they shall prophesy. 
Act 2:19  ”And I will give wonders in the heaven above,” and miraculous signs “on the earth below, blood and fire and vapor of smoke. 
Act 2:20  The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the” “coming of the great and glorious” “day of the Lord.” 
Act 2:21  ”And it shall be that everyone who shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Joel 2:28-32 

Notice the name of the GOD AND LORD that Peter is speaking of here:

Joe 2:28  And it shall be afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. 
Joe 2:29  And also I will pour out My Spirit on the slaves and on the slave-girls in those days. 
Joe 2:30  And I will give signs in the heavens and in the earth: blood, and fire, and columns of smoke. 
Joe 2:31  The sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of Jehovah. 
Joe 2:32  For it shall be, all who shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be saved. For salvation shall be in Mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, as Jehovah has said, and among the survivors whom Jehovah shall call. 

What is the name of Messiah and what does it mean?  it means YHWH”s SALVATION.

If that is not clear enough for you, look the next day when Peter goes to the temple what he tells us again from scripture and this time who the FATHER OF MESSIAH IS:

Act 3:12  And seeing this, Peter answered to the people, Men, Israelites, why do you marvel at this one? Or why do you stare at us, as if by our own power or godliness we have made him to walk? 
Act 3:13  The “God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob,” “the God of our fathers,” Ex. 3:15 glorified His child Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied Him in the presence of Pilate, that one having decided to set Him free. 

Exo 3:15  And God said to Moses again, You shall say this to the sons of Israel, Jehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial from generation to generation. 

THIS IS WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW THE TRUE NAME OF YHWH AND YAHUSHUA.  AND WHY YOU CANNOT BE LAZY AND LET MEN TELL YOU WHAT TO BELIEVE.  YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE WORD AND TOOLS TO UNDERSTAND IT IF YOU TRY.  READ IT BELIEVE WHAT IS IN IT AND QUIT LETTING MEN LEAD YOU WHO HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH.

But Peter tells us more:

Act 3:17  And now, brothers, I know that you acted according to ignorance, as also did your rulers. 
Act 3:18  But what things God before proclaimed through the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ should suffer, He fulfilled in this manner. 
Act 3:19  Therefore, repent, and convert, for the blotting out of your sins, so that times of refreshing may come from the face of the Lord, 
Act 3:20  and that He may send forth the One before proclaimed to you, Jesus Christ, 
Act 3:21  whom Heaven truly needs to receive until the times of restoration of all things, of which God spoke through the mouth of all His holy prophets from the age past. 
Act 3:22  For Moses indeed said to the fathers, “The Lord your God will raise up to you a Prophet from among your brothers, One like me; you shall hear Him according to all things,” whatever He may speak to you. See Deut. 18:15-16, 19 
Act 3:23  And it shall be that of every soul, whoever should not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people. 
Act 3:24  And also all the prophets, from Samuel and those following after, as many as spoke, also before announced these days. 
Act 3:25  You are sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God appointed to our fathers, saying to Abraham, “Even in your Seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Gen. 22:18 

Deu 18:15  Jehovah your God shall raise up to you a prophet from among you, of your brothers, one like me; you shall listen to him, 
Deu 18:16  according to all that you desired of Jehovah your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of Jehovah my God, nor let me see this great fire any more, lest I die. 
Deu 18:17  And Jehovah said to me, They have spoken well, what they have said. 
Deu 18:18  I shall raise up a prophet to them from among their brothers, one like you; and I will put My Words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him. 
Deu 18:19  And it shall be, whoever will not listen to My Words which he shall speak in My name, I will require it at his hand. 

Gen 22:16  And He said, I have sworn by Myself, declares Jehovah, that on account of this thing you have done, and have not withheld your son, your only son, 
Gen 22:17  that blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is on the shore of the sea. And your Seed shall possess the gate of His enemies. 
Gen 22:18  And in your Seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed because you have obeyed My voice. 

Those verses that men hate so much they are blind to see.  They hate the JEWs and miss the blessing because Messiah was of Judah and through Him all the earth is blessed.  Quit hating the God of the Jews, instead love Him and show Him that you do by keeping His commandments, the way Messaih taught Peter to do.
