Proof From John that Messiah taught the Old Testament and His Father is the God of the Old Testament 1

Joh 1:23  He said, “I am a voice crying in the wilderness:” “Make straight” “the way of the Lord,” as Isaiah the prophet said. Isa. 40:3 

Joh 1:51  And He says to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, From now on you will see Heaven opened, and “the angels of God ascending and descending” on the Son of Man. Gen. 28:12 

Joh 2:17  And His disciples remembered that it was written, “The zeal of Your house has consumed Me.” Psa. 69:9 

Joh 6:31  Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, as it is written “He gave them bread out of Heaven to eat.” LXX-Psa. 77:24; MT-Psa. 78:24 

Joh 6:45  It has been written in the Prophets, They “shall” all “be taught of God.” So then everyone who hears and learns from the Father comes to Me; Isa. 54:13 

Joh 7:38  The one believing into Me, as the Scripture said, Out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.( while Christian scholars do not know where this scripture is located it is from the commandments of cleansing things and people that are unclean. The water that is used cannot be standing water, it must be moving or “living”.

Lev_11:32  And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed. 

Joh 7:42  Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was? Mic. 5:2 

Joh 8:17  And in your Law it has been written that the witness of two men is true. Deut. 19:15 

Joh 10:34  Jesus answered them, Has it not been written in your Law, “I said, you are gods”? Psa. 82:6 

Joh 12:15  ”Do not fear,” “daughter of Zion. Behold, your King comes” “sitting on” “the foal of an ass.” Isa. 40:9; Zech. 9:9 

Joh 12:36  While you have the Light, believe into the Light, that you may become sons of Light. Jesus spoke these things, and going away He was hidden from them. 
Joh 12:37  But though He had done so many miraculous signs before them, they did not believe into Him, 
Joh 12:38  so that the Word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said, “Lord, who has believed our report? And the arm of the Lord, to whom was it revealed?” Isa. 53:1 
Joh 12:39  Because of this they could not believe, because Isaiah said again, 
Joh 12:40  ”He has blinded their eyes” and “has hardened their heart,” “that they might not see with the eyes” and “understand with the heart,” “and be converted,” “and I should heal them.” Isa. 6:10 

Joh 15:24  If I did not do the works among them which no other did, they had no sin. But now they both have seen and also have hated Me and My Father. 
Joh 15:25  But that may be fulfilled the Word that has been written in their Law, “They hated Me undeservedly.” Psa. 69:4 

Joh 19:24  Then they said to one another, Let us not tear it, but let us cast lots about it, whose it will be (that the Scripture might be fulfilled which said, “They divided My garments among them,” and “they threw a lot for My garment.” Then indeed the soldiers did these things. LXX-Psa. 21:19; MT-Psa. 22:18 ) 

Joh 19:29  Then a vessel full of vinegar was set, and having filled a sponge with vinegar, and putting hyssop around, they brought it to His mouth. Psa. 69:21 

Joh 19:36  For these things happened that the Scripture might be fulfilled, “Not a bone of Him shall be broken.” Ex. 12:46; Psa. 34:20 
Joh 19:37  And again, a different Scripture says, “They shall look at Him whom they have pierced.” Zech. 12:10
