Proof that the Prophet DANIEL worshiped YHWH and that ALL HIS FATHERS DID AS WELL

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

THE FATHERS OF THE OLD TESTAMENT AND ISRAEL ALSO WORSHPED YHWH AND THE PROOF IS IN THE WORDS OF THE OLD TESTAMENT.  THIS INCLUDES NOAH AS WELL.

While the name of the God of Daniel is not given but the word Adonia which means God, adored.  There is still proof that it is YHWH the God of Abraham, Jacob and Israel.  I will show those to you through His Word.

Dan 1:11  And Daniel said to Melzar, whom the chief of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,
Dan 1:12  Please, test your servants ten days. And let vegetables be given to us that we may eat, and water that we may drink.
Dan 1:13  Then let our face be seen before you, our countenance and the appearance of the boys who eat of the king’s food. And as you see, do so with your servants.
Dan 1:14  And he listened to them in this matter and tested them for ten days.
Dan 1:15  And at the end of ten days their faces looked better and fatter of flesh than all the boys who were eating the king’s food.
Dan 1:16  So Melzar took away their food and the wine that they were to drink, and he gave them vegetables.

Why won’t Daniel just eat?  If he is worshiping the god that says you can eat what ever you want?  NO DANIEL WON’T JUST EAT WHATEVER.  HE WANTS TO ONLY EAT CLEAN FOOD AS YHWH TOLD HIS CHILDREN TO DO.

Lev 11:3  Any that divides the hoof and is wholly clovenfooted, bringing up the cud, among the living things, you may eat it.
Lev 11:4  Only, you may not eat these, of those bringing up the cud, and of those dividing the hoof: the camel, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you;
Lev 11:5  and the rock badger, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you;
Lev 11:6  and the hare, though it brings up the cud, yet it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you;
Lev 11:7  and the swine, though it divides the hoof and is clovenfooted, yet it does not bring up the cud; it is unclean to you.
Lev 11:8  You shall not eat of their flesh, and you shall not touch their dead body; they are unclean to you.

Dan 2:20  Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His.
Dan 2:21  And He changes the times and the seasons; He causes kings to pass away, and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who know understanding.
Dan 2:22  He reveals the deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells in Him.
Dan 2:23  I thank You and praise You, O God of my fathers, who has given me wisdom and might, and has made me know what we ask of You. For You have revealed to us the king’s matter.

So here we see the Daniels God is the God of His fathers.  That would be his immediate father but also his father Abraham so lets look to Abraham and see who his God was .  Then we can know that they are the same.

Gen_6:8  And Noah found grace in the eyes of Jehovah.
Gen_7:1  And Jehovah said to Noah, You and all your house come into the ark, for I have seen you righteous before Me in this generation.
Gen_7:5  And Noah did according to all that Jehovah commanded him.
Gen_7:16  And those going in went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him. And Jehovah shut him within.
Gen_8:20  And Noah built an altar to Jehovah, and took of every clean animal, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
Gen_8:21  And Jehovah smelled the soothing fragrance, and Jehovah said in His heart, I will never again curse the ground for the sake of man, because the imagination of the heart of man is evil from his youth. Yea, I will not again smite every living thing as I have done.
Gen_9:26  And he said, Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Shem; and may Canaan be his slave.

Gen_12:1  And Jehovah had said to Abram, Go out from your land and from your kindred, and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you.
Gen_12:4  And Abram went out, even as Jehovah had spoken to him. And Lot went with him. And Abram was a son of seventy five years when he went out from Haran.
Gen_12:7  And Jehovah appeared to Abram and said, I will give this land to your seed. And he built an altar there to Jehovah, who appeared to him.
Gen_12:8  And he moved from there to a mountain on the east of Bethel, and stretched his tent with Bethel toward the sea, and Ai on the east. And he built an altar there to Jehovah, and called on the name of Jehovah.

Gen_13:10  And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw all the circuit of Jordan, that it was well-watered before Jehovah destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even like the garden of Jehovah, like the land of Egypt as you come to Zoar.
Gen_13:13  And the men of Sodom were evil and sinners before Jehovah, exceedingly so.
Gen_13:14  And after Lot had separated from him, Jehovah said to Abram, Now lift up your eyes and look northward and southward and eastward and westward from the place where you are.
Gen_13:18  Then Abram moved his tent and came and lived among the oaks of Mamre, which were in Hebron; and he built an altar to Jehovah there.
Gen_14:22  And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand to Jehovah, the most high God, the possessor of Heaven and earth,
Gen_15:1  After these things the Word of Jehovah came to Abram in a vision, saying, Do not fear, Abram; I am your shield, your reward will increase greatly.
Gen_15:2  And Abram said, Lord Jehovah, what will You give to me since I am going childless and the son of the inheritance of my house is Eleazar of Damascus?
Gen_15:4  And behold! The Word of Jehovah came to him saying, This one shall not be inheriting. But he that shall come forth out of your own bowels shall be your heir.
Gen_15:6  And he believed in Jehovah. And He counted it to him for righteousness.
Gen_15:7  And He said to him, I am Jehovah who caused you to come out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.
Gen_15:8  And he said, My Lord Jehovah, by what shall I know that I shall inherit it?
Gen_15:18  On that day Jehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying, I have given this land to your seed, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates,
Gen_16:2  And Sarai said to Abram, See, now, Jehovah has kept me from bearing; go in now to my slave-girl; perhaps I may be built up from her. And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.
Gen_16:5  And Sarai said to Abram, My injury be upon you; I gave my slave-girl into your bosom, and she saw that she had conceived, and I was despised in her eyes. Let Jehovah judge between me and you.
Gen_16:7  And the Angel of Jehovah found her by a well of water in the wilderness; by the well in the way of Shur.
Gen_16:9  And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, Return to your mistress and submit yourself under her hand.
Gen_16:10  And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, I will exceedingly multiply your seed, so that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
Gen_16:11  And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, Behold! You are with child and shall bear a son; and you shall call his name Ishmael, because Jehovah has listened to your affliction.
Gen_16:13  And she called the name of Jehovah, the One speaking to her, You, a God of vision! For she said, Even here have I looked after the One seeing me?
Gen_17:1  And when Abram was ninety nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before me and be perfect;
Gen_18:1  And Jehovah appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre. And he was sitting at the door of the tent in the heat of the day.
Gen_18:13  And Jehovah said to Abraham, Why has Sarah laughed at this, saying, Indeed, truly shall I bear, even I who am old?
Gen_18:14  Is anything too difficult for Jehovah? At the appointed time I will return to you, at the time of life, and there will be a son to Sarah.
Gen_18:17  And Jehovah said, Shall I hide from Abraham that which I am doing?
Gen_18:19  For I have known him, so that whatever he may command his sons and his house after him, even they may keep the way of Jehovah, to do righteousness and justice; to the intent that Jehovah may bring on Abraham that which He has spoken of him.
Gen_18:20  And Jehovah said, The cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and their sin is exceedingly heavy.
Gen_18:22  And the men faced around from there and went toward Sodom. And Abraham was still standing before Jehovah.
Gen_18:26  And Jehovah said, If I find fifty righteous within the city, in Sodom, then I will spare all the place because of them.
Gen_18:33  And when Jehovah had left off speaking to Abraham, He was finished. And Abraham returned to his place.
Gen_19:13  For we are about to destroy this place, for the cry of them is great before Jehovah, and Jehovah has sent us to destroy it.
Gen_19:14  And Lot went out to speak to his sons-in-law, those taking his daughters. And he said, Rise up, go out from this place, for Jehovah is about to destroy the city. And he seemed as one joking to his sons-in-law.
Gen_19:16  And he lingered. And the men lay hold of his hand and his wife’s hand, and on the hand of his two daughters, Jehovah having mercy on him. And they caused him to go out, and they put him down outside the city.
Gen_19:24  And Jehovah rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from Jehovah out of the heavens.

Gen_21:33  And he planted a tamarisk tree in Beer-sheba, and there he called on the name of Jehovah the everlasting God.
Gen_22:11  And the Angel of Jehovah called to him from the heavens and said, Abraham! Abraham! And he said, Behold me.
Gen_22:14  And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah Will See; so that it is said until this day, In the mount of Jehovah it will be seen.
Gen_22:15  And the Angel of Jehovah called to Abraham out of the heavens a second time.
Gen_22:16  And He said, I have sworn by Myself, declares Jehovah, that on account of this thing you have done, and have not withheld your son, your only son,
Gen_24:1  And Abraham was old, going on in days, and Jehovah had blessed Abraham in all things.
Gen_24:3  And I will cause you to swear by Jehovah, God of the heavens and God of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanite, among whom I dwell.
Gen_24:7  Jehovah, God of Heaven, who took me from the house of my father and from the land of my birth, and who spoke to me, and who swore to me, saying, I will give this land to your Seed; He shall send His Angel before you, and you shall take a wife from there for my son.
Gen_24:12  And he said, Jehovah, God of my master Abraham, I pray, cause her to meet before me this day, and show kindness to my master Abraham.
Gen_24:21  And watching her, the man kept silent in order to know if Jehovah had prospered his way, or not.
Gen_24:26  And the man bowed and worshiped Jehovah.
Gen_24:27  And he said, Blessed be Jehovah, God of my master Abraham, who has not left off His kindness and His truth with my master, I being in the way, Jehovah guided me to the house of the brother of my master.
Gen_24:31  And he said, Come in, blessed of Jehovah! Why are you standing outside? I have prepared the house and a place for the camels.
Gen_24:35  And Jehovah has blessed my master much, and he is great. And He has given to him flocks and herds, and silver and gold, and male slaves and slave-girls, and camels and asses.
Gen_24:40  And he said to me, Jehovah, before whom I walk, will send His Angel with you and prosper your way. And you shall take a wife for my son from my family, from my father’s house.
Gen_24:42  And today I came to the well. And I said, Jehovah, God of my master Abraham, I pray, if You will, prosper the way in which I am about to go.
Gen_24:44  and she says to me, Both you drink and also I will draw for your camels, may she be the woman whom Jehovah has approved for my master’s son.
Gen_24:48  And I bowed and worshiped Jehovah, and I blessed Jehovah, God of my master Abraham, who had guided me in the true way, to take for his son the daughter of the brother of my master.
Gen_24:50  And Laban and Bethuel answered and said, The thing has come from Jehovah; we are not able to speak to you good or evil.
Gen_24:51  Behold! Rebekah is before you, take her and go. And let her become the wife of the son of your master, as Jehovah has spoken.
Gen_24:52  And it happened when the slave of Abraham heard their words, he bowed himself to the earth to Jehovah.
Gen_24:56  And he said to them, Do not delay me, for Jehovah has prospered my way. Send me away that I may go to my master.
Gen_25:21  And Isaac prayed to Jehovah for his wife for she was barren. And Jehovah was entreated for him, and his wife Rebekah conceived.
Gen_25:22  And the sons struggled together within her. And she said, If this is right, why am I this way? And she went to ask Jehovah.
Gen_25:23  And Jehovah said to her, Two nations are in your womb; even two peoples shall break from your body. And one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
Gen_26:2  And Jehovah appeared to him and said, Do not go down into Egypt; stay in the land which I shall say to you.

Gen_26:28  And they said, Since we plainly have seen that Jehovah has been with you, and we have said, let there be an oath now between us, between us and you, and let us cut a covenant with you,
Gen_26:29  whether you will do with us evil, as we did not touch you, and as we did only good with you, and we sent you away in peace you now being blessed of Jehovah.

Gen_29:31  And Jehovah saw that Leah was hated. And He opened her womb, but Rachel was barren.
Gen_29:32  And Leah conceived and bore a son. And she called his name Reuben; for she said, Surely Jehovah has looked on my affliction, for now my husband will love me.
Gen_29:33  And she conceived again and bore a son, and said, Surely Jehovah has heard that I am hated and has given this one to me also. And she called his name Simeon.
Gen_29:35  And she conceived again and bore a son. And she said, This time I praise Jehovah. So she called his name Judah. And she ceased from bearing.
