“No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, THE OLD IS BETTER.” Luke 5:39
Luke in verse 36 also claims this is a parable — which is ludicrous, because Jesus is making an obvious distinction between Himself and John. Given the choice, Whose disciple would you like to be?!
1) The Son of God
OR
2) “Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.”
Matthew records the truth:
14 Then came to him the DISCIPLES OF JOHN, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
Matthew 9
A second witness that the later (new) wine is better!
“And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the GOOD WINE UNTIL NOW.” John 2:10

Total BS. The Pharisees started life somewhere during the Maccabean revolt 167 to 160 BC, as a political party. They claim the Maccabean revolt was Jewish, but they were called the Pharisees back then. They didn’t invent Judaism until after 70 CE. Judaism is not even as old as the Jesus time line, not that Jesus is a true story either, it’s an amalgamation of Mithraism and Dionysus. The name Jesus didn’t exist back then, the letter J didn’t exist until a few hundred years ago, ffs, it’s a Greek name not Aramaic. And then there’s the rather large glaring clue in that Dionysus means Christ-Ysus.
I think 99% of the problem is that most people don’t understand who the Pharisees were. They were a massive political party, who had branches in Judea, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Turkey, Greece and their main base was in Rome. The members were bankers and traders who perverted and destroyed Rome’s republic from within via lies, bribery and murder. They had Julius Caesar butchered on the Senate steps on the Ides of March and turned Rome into a hereditary dictatorship for their own self interests… Any of this sounding familiar at all? Because that class of people have been in the political game of robbing the poor to line their own pockets, for thousands of years.

Regarding the identity of the Pharisees, here’s testimony that I ACCEPT:
1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying The scribes and THE PHARISEES SIT IN MOSES’ SEAT:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for THEY SAY, AND DO NOT.
Matthew 23
Their biggest lies are that the country called Israel was Jewish and they had a temple in Jerusalem which is in Judea (Judea was not Israel but it’s boarders were contiguous with it) … unless they mean a room full of money lending tables they are typically lying their heads off. The Pharisees have never had a temple at all, let alone one in Jerusalem, Judea.
