Non-apostle Mark makes Jesus out to be unjust

“Ye shall know them [ravening wolves] by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or FIGS of thistles?” Matthew 7:16

Mark presents Jesus as a jerk who demands the impossible from nature (and mankind).  Didn’t you ever wonder WHY he was so brutal to an innocent little fig tree…that can’t control where it grows, how much sun & rain it gets, etc.??

It represented a nation (run by Pharisees) that had been given every blessing or curse based on chosen action: a barren tree that WAS at fault!

The FAKE ACCOUNT with built-in excuse:

¹³ And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

Wrong Mark!…NOT BECAUSE “the time of figs was not yet”.

Yes, it’s true that the seasonal harvest is from early June to the main crop in August…but a fig tree which has sprouted forth leaves, generally has some young green fruit which preceded them; The leaves in fact were the indication of early fruit…also that this was a hopeless tree that would likewise not bear fruit later!

Jesus’ expectation that the fig tree bore SOME fruit was not unreasonable!

Those fig leaves were just for show like ALL Pharisees described in Matthew ch. 23…Pharisees bore no good fruit, in or out of season.

¹⁴ And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

[Verses 15-17 then describe Jesus casting out the money changers which INTERCEPTS the fig tree lesson/parable.]

Even just as important — NO HEALING in the temple!!!!! “And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.” Matthew 21:14

And NO PRAISE in Mark’s lying pen “…the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David.” Matthew 21:15-16

¹⁹ And when even was come, he went out of the city.

²⁰ And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

²¹ And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

Mark 11

THE TRUE APOSTLE ACCOUNT…entirely AFTER casting out the money changers in the temple and NOT a day later a withered tree:

¹⁸ Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

¹⁹ And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And PRESENTLY the fig tree withered away.

²⁰ And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, HOW SOON IS THE FIG TREE WITHERED AWAY!

Time was up for the fig tree in 70AD with the destruction of Jerusalem [and exile of the House of Judah] by invading Roman armies.
 

⁴³ Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

⁴⁴ And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

⁴⁵ And when the chief priests and PHARISEES had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

Matthew 21

Satan had already planted a new corrupt tree to take its place using Pharisee Saul and the anti-Christ spirit to sprout and grow it.

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and THE VIOLENT take it by force.” Matthew 11:12

³⁸ But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us KILL HIM, and let us seize on his inheritance.

³⁹ And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and SLEW HIM.

Matthew 21

Those violent conspiring men have now grown into an evil mountain, but the faithful will nonetheless remove it!

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.” Matthew 21:21

Matthew 24:32 should now be much clearer: The faithful ARE ALREADY bearing some fruit {visible only upon close inspection since it blends in with the green leaves} and approaching harvest season.
