Luke (and Mark) take every opportunity to portray the apostles as faithless idiots: Jesus promised "ELIA truly shall first come, and RESTORE ALL THINGS", but wicked Luke..."Lord, wilt THOU at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?"

³ And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and ELIA talking with him.

¹⁰ And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elia must first come?

¹¹ And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elia truly SHALL FIRST COME, and restore [apokatastēsei Strong's 600] all things.

¹² But I say unto you, That Elia is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

¹³ Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

Luke sets the stage for claiming that Joel 2 — which he misquotes –is being fulfilled at Pentecost when in fact the antichrist Spirit was poured out in fiery CLOVEN tongues in Jerusalem; Did Jesus not say that their house was left unto them desolate…exactly the conditions for evil spirits to move in?

⁶ When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore [apokathistaneis Strong's 600] again the kingdom to Israel?

⁷ And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
