Walking in the Light, Coming Out of the Darkness.

Exo 20:2  I am YAHUAH your ELOHIM, who has brought you out from the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 
Exo 20:3  You shall not have any other elohim before Me. 
Exo 20:4  You shall not make a graven image for yourself, or any likeness in the heavens above, or in the earth beneath, or in the waters under the earth; 
Exo 20:5  you shall not bow to them, and you shall not serve them; for I am YAHUAH your ELOHIM, a jealous ELOHIM, visiting the iniquity of fathers on sons, on the third and on the fourth generation, to those that hate Me; 
Exo 20:6  and doing kindness to thousands, to those loving Me, and to those keeping My commandments. 
Exo 20:7  You shall not take the name of YAHUAH your ELOHIM in vain; for YAHUAH will not leave unpunished the one who takes His name in vain. 

So the churches today say that this one command they truly keep.  Except for the Catholic church there are no “graven images” there, so they think they are OK.  But are they?

Lets look at the Word in Jeremiah and see what Israel was doing and what caused Yahuah to implement the curse He warned would come, if they broke this law about loving Him with all our hearts.

Jer 10:1  Hear the Word which YAHUAH speaks to you, O house of Israel. 
Jer 10:2  So says YAHUAH, Do not learn the way of the nations; and do not be terrified at the signs of the heavens; for the nations were terrified at them. 
Jer 10:3  For the ordinances of the people are vanity. For one cuts a tree out of the forest with the axe, the work of the hands of the craftsman. 
Jer 10:4  They adorn it with silver and with gold; they make them strong with nails and hammers, so that it will not wobble. 
Jer 10:5  They are like a rounded post, and they cannot speak; carrying they must be carried, because they cannot walk. Do not be afraid of them, for they cannot do evil nor good; it is not with them. 
Jer 10:6  There is none like You, O YAHUAH; You are great, and Your name is great in might. 
Jer 10:7  Who would not fear You, O King of nations? For it is fitting to You, because there is none like You among all the wise of the nations, and in all their kingdoms. 
Jer 10:8  But they are at once foolish and animal like; their tree is an instruction of vanities. 
Jer 10:9  Silver beaten into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the craftsman and the hands of the goldsmith. Violet and purple is their clothing; they are all the works of skillful ones. 
Jer 10:10  But YAHUAH is the true ELOHIM, He is the living ELOHIM and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to stand His indignation. 
Jer 10:11  So you shall say to them, The elohim who have not made the heavens and the earth, they shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens. 
Jer 10:12  It is He who made the earth by His power, who established the world by His wisdom, and who stretched out the heavens by His understanding. 
Jer 10:13  When He utters His voice, there is a noise of waters in the heavens. He causes the vapors to go up from the ends of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain and brings forth the wind out of His storehouses. 
Jer 10:14  Every man is stupid from lack of knowledge; every refiner is put to shame by the carved image. For his molten image is a lie and no breath is in them. 
Jer 10:15  They are vanity, the work of delusion. In the time of their judgment they shall perish. 

So you don’t worship that tree you put up in your house and church every year on the day of the birthday of the Sun God?  Neither did the Israelites, they worship the god that the tree represented the body part of, his penis.

That is why the shape of the tree is so important, like the obelisk, tall , round and pointed.  If Yahuah threw Israel off the land for this, you think He is honored by you doing the same thing?

Jer 44:13  For I will punish those who dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the plague, 
Jer 44:14  so that none of the remnant of Judah which has gone into the land of Egypt, to reside there, will be a refugee, or a survivor, or turn back to the land of Judah to which they are lifting up their soul to return back to live there, for none shall return, except the escapees. 
Jer 44:15  Then all the men who knew that their wives had burned incense to other gods, and all the women who stood by, a great assembly, even all the people who lived in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah saying, 
Jer 44:16  As for the Word that you have spoken to us in the name of YAHUAH, we will not listen to you. 
Jer 44:17  But we will certainly do whatever thing goes out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings, and our rulers, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. And we had plenty of food, and were well, and saw no evil. 
Jer 44:18  But when we stopped burning incense to the queen of heaven, and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked all things, and have been devoured by the sword and by the famine. 
Jer 44:19  And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven and poured out drink offerings to her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings to her, without our men? 

So on your birthday, did you blow the candle out and make a wish?  Who was that wish being made to?  This is another of those traditions of men, or of gods who were men, the first kings of the earth, the nephillim.

So much of what we do , even our calendars are full of pagan gods names, pagan gods rites.  Instead of doing the things that the gods taught men to do, do what Yahuah the only real God, the Elohim, told us to do, keep His feasts, His commands, walk in His ways the way His Son did, let Him be your example of how to live and your deliverer from death.

Mat_5:19  Therefore, whoever relaxes one of these commandments, the least, and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in the kingdom of Heaven. But whoever does and teaches them, this one shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven. 

Be blessed, walk in the truth and the light of His commands and in His Son’s footsteps.

Jer_16:19  O YAHUAH, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, Our fathers have inherited only lies, vanity, and there is no profit in them.
