ONLY Young’s Literal translation faithfully renders the Greek: “spirit of THE prophecy”
“and I fell before his feet, to bow before him, and he saith to me, ‘See — not! fellow servant of thee am I, and of thy brethren, those having the testimony of Jesus; bow before God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of the prophecy.’” Revelation 19:10
The Apocalypse (Revelation, unveiling) = THE prophecy
One Greek word has been subtracted from Revelation 19:10…but not in the following verses that clarify WHICH prophecy represents the testimony of Jesus that the angel shows John : τῆς (tēs) Strong’s 3588
