“The New Covenant preaches salvation by grace through faith” -- that IT- - “simply believe”?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

“The New Covenant preaches salvation by grace through faith” —  Is that IT- – “simply believe”?

Is there nothing one must “DO” except simply believe?  Why then did Jesus Christ exhort His Disciples to — “Do” — what He tells them to “Do”?

Luke 6

46  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do notthe things which I say?

47  Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

48  He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

49  But he that heareth,and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

The majority of so called Christian’s rely on the writings of Paul and ignore the words of our High Priest Jesus Christ – WHY?   Because — Jesus supposedly did not teach grace through faith,  Jesus supposedly taught — “Law salvation” –

And as Paul is very very easily misunderstood and his words can easily be twisted, as the Apostle Peter warns us, those claiming to be christians derive their doctrine of grace through  Paul’s letters and NOT the from the clear Words of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Here is a quote:

“another problem is that you forget that Jesus was a rabbi or teacher of the Law & a prophet of Jehovah before the cross…when he taught Law salvation, it was because the old Law was in effect & was the order of the day…the Law was nailed to the cross when he died…in the resurrection,

Jesus is no longer a rabbi teacher of the Law, but rather the mediator of the new covenant…his role changed with the death, burial, & resurrection…”

            End of quote:

We will pause to clarify the intent of this study: — what follows are many logical and reasonable questions and statements regarding basic doctrines –which-  we would expect any rational person would and should require their personally held doctrines — to be able to endure.

If the scriptures and the logic found in this study can not be “broken”, then would a rational logical person not return to God’s Word to confirm or reject  the doctrine they have previously  held as truth?

This fellow does understand Jesus Christ taught His disciples to obey the LAW, — which Jesus Christ most certainly did,  === but that is not an option for Christians  today as they demand to be freed from that harsh “burden”  of God’s  LAW!

Jesus Christ, in Luke 6 quoted above, admonishes those that would come to Him to diligently  –DO  – what Jesus says they are to do!

AND the fellow quoted above believes it is possible all the teaching of Jesus Christ were only valid during the 3 ½ years of confirming the covenant.  Thus to him it would be normal and acceptable for Christ to DO and teach one Way and expect those that come to Christ to Do and Live another Way.

“They” are now “under” the doctrine of grace and no longer “under” the Law and this false doctrine comes only and directly from the twisting of  the letters of Paul.

Let’s analyze the above quote and understand what it actually is stating.

Jesus Christ came to earth to confirm the Covenant with many but His time was cut short to 3 ½ years.  The quote above states Christ’s “role” changed, after His 3 ½ years of preaching the Gospel and confirming the Covenant, at His death, Jesus Christ is now no longer a teacher of the law. I wonder if this fellow has read Revelation?

 After 3 ½ years everything changed?  We are told repeatedly God never changes but after 4000 years of God’s Holy Law being The Law for the people of God– that has now changed?

How do folks that believe God’s Law is now void handle scriptures like this one in the last chapter of the last book of the New Testament?

And to confirm “which commandments” ; are not murder, lying and  idolatry  three of the 10?

Revelation 22: 14  Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15  For without [are] dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

And here is another, one of many.

Rev 12: 17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

What is the “the testimony of Jesus Christ” ?

Witnesses against the accused give their “testimony” – Christ’s Testimony are the Commandments of God.

The Two Tables of Stone written by the finger of Jesus Christ  are TWO  witnesses  proving we are sinners.

The Two Tables of Stone testify men are sinners. Exodus 31:18; 32:15;

So which is it?

Is Paul sadly misunderstood or did Jesus Christ  waste 3 ½ years preaching worthless doctrine that would be nailed to His stake?

 So, the question remains: Did Christ come to confirm the new covenant during His 3 ½ years of preaching the Good News of the coming Kingdom of God –or —

was Christ simply wasting His time teaching as TRUTH doctrines which were to be cast aside at His death?

IF, as the multitudes accept as truth,  Christ nailed the Law to His stake — after He had taught the rich man that wanted to gain eternal life – to keep the commandments then what else can one think but — Christ for  3 ½ years taught error.

If those that have accepted the satanic doctrine of “dispensations” no longer accept what Christ taught concerning what is needed to receive the free gift of eternal life — then  the work of Jesus Christ was in vain for them.

Are there three different Ways of salvation?  One way for those before Christ, another during the 3 ½ years and then a third after the death of Christ?

That is a lot of change!

And it means all men would not be judged by the same law. So now God is a respecter of persons? Those before and during the time of Christ are judged by the Holy Law and after His death God’s people get a pass?

After calling His 12 Apostles at the beginning of the 3 ½ years of confirming the Covenant – Jesus spent those 3 ½ years teaching the 12 Apostles what?

Did Christ teach His 12 Apostles “grace” or “law salvation”?  a study of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John reveals Jesus Christ taught the 12 what is erroneously termed “Law Salvation”. He told the rich man if he wanted to gain eternal life “keep the Commandments” and then to lock in the fact Christ was speaking of the 10 Commandments given to Moses on the mountain and included in the Covenant – Christ listed 6 of them.

John 17:  6  I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

Please read the entire 17th chapter of John and compare with the quote above—verse 6 clearly state Jesus Christ taught His 12 apostles the WORD of the Father and not this own.   It was the WORD of the Father the 12 Kept – not Jesus’s word.

Please — for Once  – understand this FACT!

The first covenant never offered salvation –never.  Study Leviticus 26: 1 – 39, this is the Old Covenant – show us where salvation was ever offered to the children of Israel. Salvation/eternal life is a free gift and was never offered to the children of Israel.

THUS — it was impossible for Jesus Christ to teach – “LAW Salvation” – as the Law and the Covenant never ever offered a single person salvation.  – Ever!

So we have a bogus “fact” that is not a fact — but is blatantly false.

If Christ’s role changed after His death then how is Christ now confirming the covenant while in Heaven and who in heaven is He confirming it with?

Is the Covenant not between God and men? When will the Covenant to be confirmed?  Is it in effect now?

Did the Gospel i.e. the Good News of the coming Kingdom of God  Christ preached for 3 ½ years did that also change at His death?

Does the Word of God from beginning to end teach us God changes not? Did Jesus Christ come to earth as a “rabbi teacher of the Law” and then decided He needed change His “role”?

From before creation Jesus Christ was slain as our Passover, did that changes as well?  See Revelation 13: 8

All of the above are logical questions that must be answered by sound provable scriptures that fitly  join together “perfectly” otherwise there are holes big enough for an elephant to walk through.

Can any of you see how the above quote is portraying our Savior?

Christ taught and lived one Way and then expects those the Father calls to Him to do something different which He never taught or lived while on earth? — And that makes good sense to you, really??

Christ is the pioneer of our salvation?? He goes one way and we go another?

Christ lived one way, “the order of the day”, and then later tells us not to live that way, the Law is bad now?  We must repent of obeying the law. The Law is Holy, Just and Good — today only ==== but not tomorrow??  And this is the Savior you worship?  Utter absolute confusion.

“The order of the day”,  Does God daily change the orders? God for bid.

Christ, for 3 ½ years, tells us to follow Him in obeying the same Law He obeyed and received from His Father and then He supposedly changes and goes in a totally different direction after abolishing the Law   ??

If the above were true it would depicts Jesus Christ as a teacher of confusion and in effect rejecting the Will of His Father.

“What today is sin will not be sin tomorrow” — and you are OK with that?

Are you comfortable with a god that moves the means to the goal first this way and then that ?? Do you even understand the implication of changing the path to the Goal of eternal life.

What men are put to death for doing one day — is fine to do the next?? Is this the doctrine of Grace??

It is sin to eat unclean meats up to the time of Christ and after His death it’s OK??  Remember Noah, he took 7 pairs of clean animals on board thus you can not say the statute of clean and unclean meats is Jewish, Noah was not Jewish neither was Abraham.

What if Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, Isaiah, Daniel came back in today’s so called “Christian” world —- do you not understand they would be totally confused?  What is called Christianity is counter what God taught them.

The Word of God is logical;

The Word of God is order;

The foundation of the Word of God is eternal law and order — “And I change NOT!”

Our God Is the LAW GIVER.

If our Father “changed” as many demand, what is there we can trust in, have faith in, that we would willingly give our lives for?

If God’s Holy Law is subject to change;

If God’s will is subject to change;

If the WAY of Holiness is subject to change;

If what Christ taught can be terminated;

Then Please explain to all exactly what there is we can trust IN – IF — ALL  is subject to change?

At this point the doctrines of Jesus Christ could be matched against Paul’s words which have been twisted into lies — but most will not even read this far — I will do so if some asking for it.

      jknbt on the slim chance you will read every word in this paper and chose to comment— use scripture and logic don’t just tell me how wrong I am, anyone and most do that — very few, so far none, are able to use clear scripture and logic to refute.
