We Are The Storm

And just when I thought I couldn’t possibly take anymore, more came, and then more..

I’ve been on my knees weeping, screaming, why me, why me?

How much can one human being take.

I do my best every single day. I treat others and my environment with absolute reverence. My whole life is based in constant self inquiry, questioning everything and everyone, unveiling radical authentic awareness and then vulnerably sharing that wisdom with hopes that it inspires others to find the awareness within them.

And what I’ve come to understand thus far is…

No matter who you are, no matter what your intent, life happens.

And it’s tragedies and triumphs don’t discriminate.

Two people can go through the exact same experience with different outcomes.

We’re individuals with unique perspectives but also part of the whole.

Like drops of water in the vast ocean of consciousness.

In which storms are born and die.

None of it personal.

All of it part of the cosmic mystery.

And if for but a moment we can calm our monkey mind, (for me it’s a barefoot walk in the forest) the truth speaks to us, we just need to listen.
