Month of the Dead: Candle Magic at Kensal Green

I took these photos yesterday at Kensal Green Cemetery after I had set up the space in the Dissenters’ Chapel for my candle magic workshop in the evening. You can see the outside of the chapel with a small light glowing inside and the inside of the chapel, looking outwards.

My candle magic workshop was called Fire Power and was part of the London Month of the Dead events organised by Antique Beat and A Curious Invitation.

Most of the Month of the Dead celebrations take place at London’s Magnificent Seven Victorian cemeteries, which are wonderful places to visit at this time of year. The activities put on by Antique Beat and A Curious Invitation include workshops, lectures, concerts and tours. Later in the year, I will be running another candle magic workshop at Treadwell’s Bookshop, 33 Store Street, Bloomsbury London, WC1E 7BS. The class will be on Thursday 6 December at 7pm.
